He's definitely an upgrade over Skule. I'm really digging the OL depth right now. Most definitely a better unit overall than what we had in years.

I figured we would sign a o line guy.. and this sounds like a nice versatile guy. good job. thank god lynch is listening to people like nc and me who have been clamoring for this team to address the line esp in the area of pass protection which has sucked since 2011, no matter the qb or coach

I agree with this, I think Coleman and Compton are gone. Money saved if he costs the same as one of them.

Agreed, I believe Coleman, Compton and Kelemete are on the bubble for the ninth OL . . . IF they keep nine OL.

cc, gotta say you were the first in this thread clamoring for the team to sign another OL after Skule went down. I like this signing as at the very least he'll provide pretty good veteran OL depth competition throughout TC. And who knows what will happen in TC...he'll at least be there as insurance in the event of injury.

I really hope they keep nine OL. With the season being a game longer and with the OL position always taking a pounding & having injuries, having a good four as depth will be needed IMO.
