Yeah, I'm thinking more of health factor. With 17 games just add a second bye week. That's another weekend of football for the money hungry and players get an extra week to rest their bodies.

Yup that too. Imo the game was great as is and they keep messing with it.
I remember the second bye week I think early 90's? and players loved it. I'm surprised cause it's easy money (another weekend of football on tv etc).

Just jumping in here to say...I miss football! Less than three months until the first preseason game (I don't care if it's just preseason).

Anyone here going to @ AZ? Wanted to plan a Tenn trip but it's not going to fit the schedule. Now it's either AZ or Jacksonville.

I don't think I've ever been this excited for preseason, I want to see Lance, Sermon, Banks, Thomas, Lenoir, Moore, Mitchell, and Hufanga in action, plus guys like Jennings, Hurd, Key, Hurst, and guys fighting for roster spots, usually I just watch the 1s play, but I'll be watching the entire time, hopefully they have the free trial of GamePass again, I just use two different accounts, usually 2 are good enough, now with 3 games, it should be good.

I'm sure it's been mentioned but I think it's f**ked up only playing 5 games before the bye, especially on a 17 game season. There should be 2 bye weeks. 12 games in a row, plus a SB run, is b******t!

Trey Lance needs to play in all 3 pre-season games. I hope Kyle is thinking the samething. It's going to be interesting to see how Kyle splits the game reps since they have 4 QB's. Plus Jimmy needs needs alot of reps also since he missed most of last season. I wonder if Rosen and Sudfeld even get any playing time during pre-season. The #3 QB doesn't really need to play. They are basically just an emergency QB. I would just play Jimmy and Trey in all 3 games.

Game 1- Jimmy plays the 1st half and Trey the 2nd
Game 2-Trey plays the 1st half and Jimmy the 2nd
game 3-The week 1 starter if been named plays the 1st half and the backup the 2nd half.

Here is my prediction. To make things easier I assume that the teams split their intra-division games. 49ers have a slightly easier schedule than the others.

49ers 13-4
Cardinals 11-6
Rams 11-6
Seahawks 10-7

I'm considering the AZ game. My best friend lives in Tucson so I might visit him

Going to the Colts game. Hopefully most of the starters are not injured and it's a good game.
