If this team is healthy there's no way on earth we're loosing to Indianapolis, Minnesota, Lambs (a split at worst), Chicago, Tennessee, or Philadelphia. I'd like to hear your rationale for us loosing to those teams, because you can't possibly think either of those teams are better than a healthy 49ers.

I cannot imagine a healthy 49ers, up against that schedule, doing worse than 14 - 3 or 13 - 4. Maybe we split with the Lambs, but I'd love to see how you came to think we're we takes losses to those other teams I mentioned.

Don't get the losses to Indy and Minn. At all.

Me neither. But also, I don't get us loosing to Chicago or Philly. Maybe the Lambs once, and maybe if I squint hard enough I can understand a Tennessee loss. But the others I really want to see the logic.

The point is we are talking about it and will now be awaiting the release of the full schedule. Think of it like a movie trailer.

I'm just trying to figure out who is leaking games, and what is the rhyme or reason behind which games they reveal, and when.

My guess is it's the NFL. They are intentionally leaking to drum up interest. Would this thread be active if we didn't know week 1 was vs DET? So imagine what we are doing here, but x32. The NFL is the one sport that can stay relevant throughout the offseason - free agency, draft, schedule release, then it's onto OTAs. They know it and they milk it.

Yeah thats been the worst kept secret over the last decade. Really ever since they moved the draft to prime time. I miss morning drafts...

I just think its a stretch to consider leaking week by week a good strategy for excitement. I would say most fans will just see the schedule when it releases in full. Only nerds like us actually anticipate it throughout the day. If they truly wanted to make it an event they would do a reveal show like how MLB announces the All-Star rosters.
