what makes this weird too is that, Robert Salah had his picks of any number of his former players and did not come sniffing around!! The only player signed away is Ahkello Witherspoon (Seahawks!!) who was up and down during his time with 49ers!
Do you think if Salah does not even want to get even a single one of his former players and our free agents are not exciting any teams out there, that just maybe our players are not good enough or do you blame this on this weird offseason?
Well, we could flip this idea on its head and say that Jets' fans should be worried because he isn't getting any of these dudes.

as far as I know, Trent Williams was the only player other teams really wanted

Saleh might believe Verrett is too injury prone, plus Verrett is a California guy.
Kwaun the Jets have interest in.
Hyder is a Kocurek guy.
Who else would Saleh want on the Jets out of the 49ers free agents on defense ? Tartt who failed his one high safety experiment and who can't stay healthy?

Probably because Saleh has so many holes to fill, he needs to look at FAs everywhere, not just on the 49ers.
Plus who cares what Saleh is up to?

There is always a negative way of looking at things. Paraag managed to re-sign most of our FA's and pick up a couple that we needed. Well, they must all be rubbish then otherwise other teams would have picked them up.
There are of course other possible explanations.

Jets are still the Jets.
Maybe the guys we have believe they're more likely to win staying here vs going to the Jets even with the Jets having more cap space and getting Saleh?
So no I'm not worried.
