Are you serious about our luck and drafting players with a known injury history.... no! lol

It depends on who they draft in the 1st two rounds and if he's still there in round 3 or 4. There might be other guys they want more but at least they can take a chance since they won't need him right away. I know they've had bad luck with injured players but sometimes they work out okay. A lot of players get hurt in college. Are you going to overlook every one of them?

I actually don't think they will take a chance on him since they have other needs but it all comes down to who's sitting there when they pick. We all have our guys that we want to see on the Niners but they can't pick anyone they want. They can only pick who's available.

This would allow them to draft the center from Alabama in a later round if they want to. He's injured a lot but has been a stud when he's playing. Maybe they get lucky and he ends up being healthy for the next few years. He would be a 1st round pick if it wasn't for injuries but I'm guessing he drops to the 3rd or 4th round now.

Problem is he's slow even when healthy. Add in 4 season ending injuries in 5 years and there's big questions on what is athletic traits will look like over long haul.

Where'd he go?
good morning so far!
Not trying to be negative, but I hope we got Mack SUPER cheap. He practically waved a flag saying "I am begging to sign with the 49ers!". I would have rather had Rodney Hudson right now, but if there ends up being a large gap in what they sign for, then I'll be okay with this.

Now all we need is to draft a couple oline men, one a guard to potentially start the other an OT to push McG.
Need to draft a young center to learn under Mack
