Start West at center.

Might as well. Brendel and Brunskill are most likely 1 year rentals. West you could have extra cheap for a while.

He's got the most talent.

The starting job needs to be earned and competition brings out the best in everyone.

Agree, let the best man win.

That's usually his MO, we'll see how it plays out.

I agree!

Might as well. We all know that Brendel and Brunskill aren't the answer. Let's see what we have In West. I doubt It happens though. The 9ers generally don't like starting rookies unless they are forced to do so due to Injuries.

Do we?

Yes we do. You'll see for yourself once the season begins.

This FO has consistently put together a top-10 o-line every year they've been in charge. I trust them to figure it out.

Every QB we've had under centre Since we anointed Kyle as head coach would disagree with that.

I think it'll most likely be Brunskill at centre, unless he's forced to play G/T due to Injuries.

Lol you can tell who is really relishing this

Hoov, All and NY back in the (it's no big deal) camp per usual too.

Don't worry, be happy!

TBF, nobody should be relishing in terrible news.

Lol Oh you for sure are. In some weird way in your mind I think this makes you feel like you were right about something …and gives opportunity to do what you do best and s**t on the FO and OL 🤣

I'm always right about the OL. That doesn't mean I want to be. It means we fall short again. I want 6! Not to be "right" about the regimes biggest blind spot.

Our QBs under Kyle also repeatedly did things like this, so I'm not sure I trust their opinion on whose responsible for each sack:

A lot of fans here will see the above and get mad at the o-line and call for Lynch and Kyle to be fired for not spending 5 first round picks on the o-line every year, but when 90% of the sacks given up are like the above, can we really blame the o-line?

I was pounding the table for Quinn Meinerz a couple seasons ago. :/ oh well.

Denver drafted another center this year and have Cushenberry already ahead of Meinerz.

I'm pretty sure Meinerz is their starting guard. If not we should trade for him. Cause he would start at C for us.

It was on them last year to draft his replacement. They shouldn't be in this position to even worry too much about Mack this year. But here we are. OL remains the teams biggest weakness…again.

There's NC! TBH, you're better at this than talking about anything else; other positions, scheme etc..

Haha. Thanks? LOL

My dream is this thread someday disappears into oblivion like the DL thread did. That means good things are happening.

2 NFCCG, 1 SBA, 4-1 in the playoffs with the biggest blindspot lol got it

And that blind spot cost us both times. Contrary to popular belief, it actually wasn't "good enough."

Is it good enough this year? To you?

Right… it's hard to see where our choices on the o-line have actually cost us anything. Do we make the playoffs in 2017, 2018 or 2020 with a better o-line? It's doubtful. Do we win the SB in 2019 or 2021 with a better o-line? It's doubtful. The pressure that caused Jimmy to crumble in those games was internal more than external.

Yeah. The QBs did the O-Line no favours by holding on to the ball for too long at times, but that's not to excuse their PP either. MM seemed like he was on skates at times with how my muchas he hot pushed around, and we won't have a wise old veteran at centre this year. We could see 3 new changes along the online. Banks/Moore replacing Tomlinson/Brunskill, with Brunskill being pushed to centre. Are we confident In that group?
