You'll get tons of overreactions on this board. We started the season expecting super bowl or bust. We lost last Sunday and many here are already calling tanking for the top qb prospect and that we're the worst team in the division. We win Sunday and we're back to SB or bust mode even if it's against possibly the worst team in the leagueOriginally posted by TownNiner:Niners fan from across the pond here.
Just spent my time reading through lots of this forum as usually get my info from Twitter.
One thing that strikes me, seems to be a huge over reaction after the first game? Is this relatively normal?
I appreciate the performance was ropey at best, especially Jimmy G. Taking into account injuries and being rusty then I think as fans we have to be more measured.
It happens in Football (soccer) over here too. The team i support lost 4-0 yesterday and all hell has broken loose in the fans.

"We're playing a team that allows us to play our scheme this week," Nick Bosa said of the Jets. "We're excited about that."

If you watched the 49ers in 2019, you know what this means

LOL. You're in the wrong division to have that attitude (but I get it!). Feast.

49ers played a ton of Quarters and other two high coverages vs ARI.

Whiplash from rushing up field and watching Murray run right by him?

I think so, yes. But for what Bosa is speaking towards, my guess is he means he can pass rush without being so paranoid of the QB escaping the pocket. I'm sure he and the rest of the DL had to rush with discipline versus Murray. Won't be the case versus Darnold. Playing Quarters isn't some new thing, but the frequency that they did it versus ARI is not normal when we know that Cover3 is a big part of their typical gameplan.

why would quarters accomodate more for how Murry/Arizona plays as opposed to cover 3?
