Which is the same as not being able to. You have to hit those plays once in awhile. You saw how the Cards were able to slow down the RAC other than the big one to Mostert. When they don't respect the deep pass they can cheat up toward the line.

This. Until we get Aiyuk active or even Pettis (has some speed) going, teams are going to play us this way.

I am so pissed with this coaching staff, and so pissed with their choice with their choice of the 53, so pissed with their insistence on seeing Taylor, Pettis, and Jet succeeded, to the point where they are willing to risk games. They didn't target Bourne more, and I thinks that's because he's not a Shanny guy, and THAT caused us problems. I'm SOOOO pissed with their conservative nature that rested a major player that I think played a real role in this loss.

Overall, I felt like the team weren't ready to play.

Right off the bat, we were losing the battle of the trenches on both sides of the ball. The O-line was very so so. However, the D-line was worse, practically missing in action. I thought may be after last season Saleh would learn how to stop Kyler Murray. Where was the spy? Nothing.

Last year even when Jimmy G was starting slow after his ACL, the rest of the team was still great which made it possible for us to win so many games even before we got things going. Today's performance was just sloppy and the players lacked heart. The Cards wanted this game more than us. I guess we just expected the game to be handed to us just because we went to the Super Bowl last year.

This is a huge wake-up call, if we can't turn things around immediately, yes I think we could miss the playoffs. Did you watch the Seahawks game today? They played way better than us.

Yeah next week is a moot point. If they win it wont prove anything and if they lose then the season is essentially over

The good:
Running backs all looked decent. Was surprised how much burn Jet got in this game. The only bad thing from them was the 4th and goal and not converting. This team time and time again cant get the short yardage when needed.

Punt game was good (minus the block that wasn't Mitch's fault. Zona pinned deep many times.

The bad:
Jimmy G, looked like Jimmy G, decent when he can drop back plant and throw he looked ok. When having to make any decision or read problems arose.

WR's just absent.

Secondary looked lost many times, played to far off receivers, guessing in hopes of keeping them in front of them. But in doing so gave up 10 yard cushions over and over

D line had little pressure throughout the game. Partly from a few long AZ drives that tired them out.

The horrible:
Refs, how can the NFL continue to put out such bad officiating crews year after year. So many missed calls on both sides, many phantom calls. Just flat out bad.

Jimmy has 2 games ahead of him he should win. I'm not near ready to pull him yet. We'll see after those games.
