True hopefully Taylor will be available at some point this year barring any set backs.
If Ahmed can hang onto the ball I really like his chances of stealing reps from Coleman. I really like his film in correlation to our offensive scheme and think he will be a staple this year, especially considering the potential for injury at that position. Who says Wilson and Mckinnon are better than both of those guys? Mckinnon hasn't played since 2017 where he posted this stat line:
150 att.
570 yrds.
3.8 ave.
3 TD
2 fumbles lost
He could easily not make the final 53. I also think Wilson could be cut with no worries as I doubt he will be picked up by another team.
I like Acy over Verrett if you have to cut one. He has that long body and ball skills that Salah loves out of his CBs. No to Jared Mayden over Harris as Harris has proved serviceable late last year with not much drop off when Tartt went down. I do like Mayden to make the practice squad and prove his worth there.

As AB said, "A few things I'd change or to keep in mind. Taylor tore his ACL in December, so he may start on PUP, same for Blair." Which means they will likely keep Street and Givins to start season.
Also, I have said they keep Beathard due to Covid crisis. Should Jimmy or Mullen get quarantined for 2 games, Beathard will actually be beneficial since he knows Kyle's offense so well which probably means 1 less WR.
Can't imagine they don't keep Wilson on the 53. He will definitely get picked up, probably by Seahawks.
Lastly, they can put an extra OL on PUP to start season.

I don't like the LB depth. I'd rather keep Nzeocha and Al-Shaair than Griffith and Alfieri.

All very fair points. Don't forget Richburg too. Keep an eye on those injured players. Many more edits to come.

I hate the idea of cutting Wilson.
In this scenario if Deebo can't go, we can just PUP him to begin the season so he misses only 6 games instead of 8.
I'd rather go with Azeez over Alferi, not sure what's so special about him, rest looks good. If IR/Designated than Benjamin is cut, and re-signed next day since he won't need to clear waivers.

Yeah, you could go that way for sure. But Al was terrible last year. Nzeocha is a good ST player and has some SAM experience but a tad more expensive.

Azeez was horrendous. Even his 42.1 PFF grade mirrors that. Great story though. He's got a loooong ways to go physically, mentally and in technique.
Totally agree on your other points. I love me some Wilson but I think he's just one of those guys who you can have on speed dial.
That said, Kyle likes the bigger back on first downs and early series so Wilson has a legit shot at beating out Coleman for that role.

AB, you basically have it exactly as I do, well done. I would love to see us go to the Jets (who wanted Compton) and try to do a Compton+2022 7th round pick for a 2021 7th round pick from the Jets. This deal doesn't do much as far as draft capital, but trading Compton would save us 500K in dead money. Reason why the Jets might do it, is because they wanted Compton in FA, and trading for him guarantees they get him, and the draft pick swap is basically a non factor.

Man...you talk about riches on that DL...I know the team really likes Givens so I don't think he will be a cut. Unless J Taylor makes a quick recovery, I see him as a PUP candidate. Street has talent too and if healthy, could definitely challenge for a roster spot.
The other factor to think about is this...we all know Seattle has picked up a lot of ex-Niners over the years. That team is currently not strong on the DL and would pick up Street and/or Givens if they were cut. Do we really want to help them? I think not.
Feels great, baby!

- RB 38 JaMycal Hasty
- FB 49 Josh Hokit
- WR 7 Chris Finke
- TE 83 Chase Harrell
- TE 88 Daniel Helm
- C 64 Jake Brendel
- LG 76 Ross Reynolds
- LT 62 Jaryd Jones-Smith
- LEO 61 Jonathan Kongbo
- SAM 47 Jonas Griffith
- SAM 45 Demetrius Flannigna-Fowles
- CB 49 DeMarkus Acy
- CB 40 Teez Tabor
- SS 36 Marcell Harris
Notes: I cut Beathard to keep Deebo on the 53 in case he's ready or so they don't have to PUP or IR him meaning 6-8 games lost for him if he's healthy enough to go by say week 3 or 4. Kept 7 WRs, cut Compton, which would result in a 7th rd pick for losing Levine Toilolo in addition to the 5th for losing Sanders.
Looks good.

Looks like Niners could dress 8 oline and activate a RB or defender.
I think Wilson has a role on the team
The PS is going to get poached hard
