Unfortunately he doesn't get to play against tomato cans in the playoffs.

Dudes! What the f**k is your beef with Tomato cans?
Mckivitz has been better than Mcglinchey at a fraction of the price. Out of 64 OT that start every Sunday he's in the top half .

Actually, PFF ranks 75 OTs with the minimum number of snaps. McKivitz is #22, McGlinchey is #44 (he has missed a couple of games due to injury).

IMO, having the more dependable Puni next to him has helped him. Last year the back and forth between Feliciano and Burford was not good.

Agree Puni helps but it's not like Mckivitz is some bum that doesn't belong as a starter in the NFL. He will get paid accordingly on the open market.
Mckivitz has out played his draft position. Dude is about to get paid.
So Brendy and Barford are the only ones consistently looking like elite 3rd stringers while CM is starting to look like a solid backup

Hes an average NFL tackle. Have bigger issues on this team than him.
I think him being beside Puni has helped

When Feli took over for beu, Mick played better also

This is what i have been saying. Center is a bigger issue than RT.
I would rather they make an effort to get a Center and maybe LG(Banks is likely gone)

Next year Burford will be our LG, hopefully we find a good veteran center or one of the young guys develop.

Burford seems way better at LG than RG.
Didn't we extend McKivitz recently?

The OL is such a blind spot for this regime. I do like Puni though.

I'm gonna go on a edge and say it's Chris Foerster more than Shanahan. I bet if he really told Shanahan he needed a RT, he'd get one.

I don't understand.
Kyle can't see what's going on to know this?

Top RTs are not just sitting around and they don't grow on trees

hopefully Feli comes back healthy and ready to go at Center and we really be cooking

He's not the worst offensive linemen. The Center is far worse. Burford doesn't even belong on practice squad level.
