The taxes would be lower. Certainly in his bracket. An even offer would be a better offer there rather than here. But this is the better team and more so where he wants to play.

How do you know what is true and what is not? Front Office is going to do what they do, even if using the media.. Player Agent is gonna do what he has to do, even if using the media.

Both parties can be holding out purposely, to get as much possible of what they want, until the last second to then finally settle.

I don't think the 9ers FO is worried about Aiyuk missing time/preseason. They know he will be ready.

Aiyuk's cryptic tweets. His baby mama with all that attitude in the car right after the super bowl for one. His brother running his mouth another. Facetime with Jayden Daniels (dont care how you spell his name)

He would also get paid for playoff games here, something he probably won't see much of in Pittsburgh.

I'm feeling a signing soon then he has the worst season as a 9er so far

It's the Niners. This is all we know since 1994.

Probably true. Not sure how much difference each round makes vs the base contract. But I believe it's not real much.
Some of the content creators mentioned this before. He has to be thinking beyond this contract. If he plays well, he'll be 29 or 30 years old and could still get another 2 to 4 year contract worth decent money. He will not put up the same numbers in Pittsburgh that is a guarantee. His chances of getting a third contract with more value is much higher here than there.
Aiyuk does something official or Page 1000 of this mess, over/under
I think the signing becomes agreed to in the next two hours

I'll take the under. I think it'll be done by tonight/tomorrow.

No not a lot, especially compared to most contracts. $46,500 for divisional round, $69,000 for conference championship. $89,000 for losing the Super Bowl, $171,000 for winning. Still a fair amout to offset the extra taxes.
