Unless the 49ers are getting a haul it makes zero sense to trade Aiyuk for a team in their Super Bowl window and they control for the next 3 seasons. Makes less then zero sense.

Tee Higgins is not Brandon Aiyuk. Davante Adams is 32 years old. A 2nd for either of those guys is not unreasonable. Especially if it is Pitt 2nd.

Cincy lost Boyd. Chase holding out. Higgins is all they got and he'sin camp despite thr franchise tag.. You think they trade him for a 2?

Adams hasn't requested a trade. He is in camp and has repeatedly said he wants to be a Raider. You think LV trades him for just a 2?

You guys are in fantasy land.

Fantasy land? Funny coming from you who has the absolute worst track record of any poster in probably Webzone history. Don't think anyone forgot about how clueless you were about Michael Huff . Funny thing is you probably still stand by those takes.
Or the current Mckorkle

Lol, yea the Mac Jones take. I think krizay is actually Chris Simms.

I do. My caveat with Huff was if he could play both CB and S. It was proven that he wasn't a CB.

With that said, Oakland had him out of position playing him at SS knowing his tackling was worst part of his game. After a few years of that, they moved him to FS and his 2nd year at FS he was an all pro. So like all draft picks it is about how you are used.

As bad as McCorkle is. He's still 10 times better QB than Trey. So let that sink in for a minute
To Me Aiyuk is good, but also a product of Shanahans offense.
So if we come out of this somehow with a 2nd and a player like their starting C or DT, and turn the 2nd into Cooper or Adams, that would be a win in my books.

Huff wasn't a terrible player but VD was the right pick. He turned out to be a very good TE for us on some good 49er teams that almost won the SB.
I could only see the 49ers trading for picks if they already have a deal in place to use those picks to grab another WR like Cooper or Adams.

And trade us Ford Escort compensation.

That doesn't help you

yeah...could not agree more

if BA was as good as his desired paycheck we would be talking a 1st or two 1sts....but in actuality he has that product of the system suspicion hanging over his head I think....

A lot of Vernon's big plays were off of schemed misdirection plays. His numbers were a product of being force fed because of lack of options. Just like Eric Johnsons 82 catch year.

Vernon too was good. But not worth the #6 pick. Neither was Huff obviously but Vernon didn't even come close to "revolutionizing the TE position".

Though he came closer to "revolutionizing the TE position " than Trey came to being Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes. So I'll give him that

If I'm being honest I think it was the over the top analysis of both Trey and Vernon that made me argumentative. I didn't see either one being "that guy" but physical attributes made this forum foam at the mouth over both
