yes, we got one of those already, i don't know if you want 2. they seemed to go out of their way to get guys who can get open. that was our challenge in the SB L. plus JJ has more dog in him, than Sutton. He's better imo.

i don't expect a player,

what would we think of this, we give BA and a 3, for their 1.
I think a lot of people are over valuing the trade market for BA. If he was on a modest deal his trade market would be high but since he wants a new contract and WRs aren't exactly in short supply his trade market isn't as high you think it is.

We'll probably get a 2nd rounder at most.
I bet it's a second or third and that defensive end Highsmith? I really wish it was Fitzpatrick

I don't want Sutton but Jennings isn't better than Sutton. Chill my man I love Jennings too but damn that's a wild take

Because our goal is to win a Superbowl. Not have a pissing contest. The longer we have a hostage on our team, the less likely we win the Superbowl.

We don't need to accept anything

Unless we can turn that 1 into an impact player this year, I still don't want it. We are in complete win now mode and losing Aiyuk this year with no replacement would be devastating. I think we could get by next year with our younger players, but we need him for at least this year or someone comparable.

I cant imagine they'd accept it. They are just playing the game per Aiyuk's standards (leaking to the public etc) I know the FO doesn't like to get nasty, especially publicly, but sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind and I am thinking this dude needs a dose of that. I still feel the niners hold all the real leverage. Anything Aiyuk tries if we don't trade him aside giving it 100% like he is expected can only hurt him.

The only other thing I can only imagine is they are taking the next 2-3 years into account. So maybe trading him now alters other things they can do to keep the roster competitive etc.
Once again, I ask why haven't the Niners traded him before the draft?
I wonder what move Lynch makes after to try and soften the blow. Extend Lenoir? Trade those picks for another impact player?

If his trade value is low, there's no need to trade him.

if we are in "win now" mode, as almost every suggests, receiving equal or better value to BA is the only way to remain so.

getting lesser value will yield the same value as sitting on him and making him honor his contract.

if the package is a 2nd and a 3rd, which we package with something else in order to get another player of greater value to our current squad, I'm all for it. If not, let him sit

Think of all those third down plays where BA is money and gets a 20 yard game. Those plays won't be there anymore, so we definitely need somebody to step up or I believe trade for a receiver with the draft picks we acquire

Because they thought they could get a deal done.

Because they wanted to get an extension done and didn't know the WR market would explode.
