So what happens if BA doesnt accept the deal (won't sign a contract extension) with Pitt so they won't execute the trade. He can still show up to camp, get "injured" and be guaranteed his 2025 salary and not play a down for us? Is that our worst case scenario?

they made it last year with god awful qb play. With Wilson and BA I see them back in the playoffs. Tomlin knows what he's doing. But I hope so.

this would be BS imo, he cost us a round 1, we developed him into a real asset, he doesn't go for a round 2, that's what JG or Alex these mid QBs go for, this is a real talent here. Claypool went for a round 2, he's in CFL now, or close to it.

Sutton is probably about the best they could do. He's not terrible. Not sure if anybody out there would move the needle

Pittsburgh lost Diontae Johnson who I thought was their best receiver. They're a good receiving core with Aiyuk, but not great
