Why the 3 for 49 stat line in his last game again? Was that him or the oline mainly?

I don't think so, look at Deebo, Bosa, and Fred. They seem to be making a point to quit taking this to social media and hinting you are leaving every few weeks.

He has been on and off with his tantrums since the superbowl. Deebo requested a trade, but wasn't acting a fool. Bosa and Fred didn't say anything.

You have to remember - a lot of these guys are young men. 24-25 years old, very inexperienced in a lot of aspects of life - which isn't their fault, but they can take things wrong cause they're dealing with seasoned professionals who look at negotiations differently than a young player would.

I def agree that going wild all over social media is a poor choice. Niners are tough to negotiate with and push really hard for team friendly structure but pay what they're supposed to. The whole number isn't the most important - it's how it's structured and the language is written, most of the time.
I mean if he had a monster SB win or lose then 30M guaranteed for sure but he choked it up like Deebo

Fred came and worked as usual and when he go paid nothing changed. Fred was as the best

Another disappointment. This dude is barely 6 ft and not nearly as good as Mims.

Lol

What if he wants less years and the Niners want more control?

What if he wants more gtd money than anybody else?

What if he wants a no trade clause?

The point is who knows - but APY is not the only material issue in any agreement.

100%. Although, it remains the measuring stick that most people use despite how flawed it is.

This. I was a little disappointed that Bosa held out.
If he's willing to accept $28 million then pay the man.

For whatever reason, Shanny deliberately tried to funnel the offense thru Deebo in the 2nd half

BUT his WR coach specifically said he'd sign at 28apy. He didn't say he'd sign if he got a no trade clause or x amount guaranteed. Obviously we don't know how much TJ knows or not but APY was his particular reason

What if it's $28m but 80% gtd? Of course the Niners would say no. The point is there are only two (very small) groups that know the full details. APY by itself is a dumb fan number to reduce a negotiation to its most simple form.

He would've finished with one of the most important TDs in 49er history if there was an OL

Right, so many more details to this to even have a remote understanding of what the contract issues are. If APY was an issue - they can just add a year with $100M but not guaranteed to inflate the APY.

my guess is that there are issues with the length of the contract and guaranteed money.

this reminds me of the Baltimore and Jackson issue - the Browns made a dumb deal and it stalled up Lamar/ravens contract cause Lamar wanted something similar. Kinda like what Miami did with waddle when he's their #2.

Not even a TD. At the 2-minute warning just a 10-15 yard catch
