If we made a good offer to him before the wide receiver market exploded, we would have already locked him up.
Instead, he sees players like Amon St. Brown getting $30M and clear #2 WRs like Devonta Smith getting $25M a year, and we have people wondering why he wont sign for $26M.

It wasnt good enough for him to sign. Good is subjective. It wasnt good enough at the time (in BA's eyes), is what I meant.

It's a process that takes a while. I think both sides are very close, and the fact that the 49ers allowed Aiyuk to talk to other teams helped a ton for each side to get on the same page with regards to valuation. I have a bit more hope 49ers and Aiyuk can come to an agreement - but probably takes a couple more days/weeks before this is resolved. We shall see.
