They play for the bag!
I don't blame them, they saw guys who got destroyed (CTE) have to bring a law suit against the league for basic health care. These players are considered smart I guess, that super bowl ring isn't worth more than the bag.
Until you're in your mid thirties and past your prime, begging to play for a contender because that bag isnt as pretty as that ring.
Lets be honest, if you're good your're going to get paid and a couple million here or there is chump change for some of these players.

49ers have two solid DE's in Floyd and Gross-Matos, they need to get Pickens out of this.
lol we aren't getting pickens. Not because they wont trade him - but because he's a clown dipsh!t that kyle would hate to have. he's talented but missing everything else kyle desires.
In Pickems defense I would act out too if Turbitsky or Adolf was my QB. That defense alone led them to the playoffs. Offense was hot garbage
Exactly, it's one thing to act like AB when you have a hall of fame qb throwing you the ball and another when you got trash trying to play qb add in a horrific OC

Aiyuk was good under our offensive system, but I have a feeling you guys are about to see a major drop off on how good he really is.
Hes nowhere close to the talents of AJ Brown, Justin Jefferson, or Jamarr Chase…
With that said, this is a big blow to our receiving corps. We need a true receiver to compliment Deebo, who is a hybrid RB/WR. I can only think of getting Pickens in return as a possible option…
The moment Deebo gets hurt, and he will because he cant stay healthy, then we are really gonna miss Aiyuk.

Niners give them the "buy it now" price and that's it. If they don't want BA enough - the Niners hold on to him. It's not complicated.
If that's the case then we better have asked for a kings ransom. I better see an impact player or a first involved. Or else I'll pout on my couch and drink beer
That's what it has to be.
people say things like "the Steelers won't bid against themselves". That's true.
Because they're bidding against the Niners interest to make their team worse.
It *should* take a haul to convince the Niners to willingly get worse.

Last I heard was 2 2nds, Daniels and Austin
Awful
Take out Daniels and Austin and insert Pickens.
I want Pickens back idc how many here are crying because he was upset with the crap qb play he's been dealing with or lack of blocking. Get him in this winning locker room with a legit qb before saying he's a malcontent.
It was way more than being upset over QB play dudes a headcase.

Yeah because Aiyuk really stepped up in Deebos absence last year.

Unconfirmed, but being discussed now on KNBR. What could Pit offer us that we would want?
Watt, Minkah, Fautanu or Porter Jr. -- I do not want anyone else on that roster
I'll eat a turd sandwich if Watt is involved
No way in hell is Watt involved and I highly doubt those other 3 will be involved. I'm about to be so pissed with the return we're about to get, how do you give away a 26 year old all pro wr? First TO now BA this damn organization
In all fairness to the front office, they gave CMC a raise (well deserved and more important). Trent is asking for more, again more important and Brock is due next year. They cant justify giving BA 30 per. If the reports are true and the really offered 26, I think that's more than fair. I just wish winning was worth something, these days it's not.
My problem isn't with them offering 26, I don't think BA is worth 30. My issue is just them not having the balls to say f**k your demands you either play for the 14, take the current offer or have the balls to sit out and lose on money and a year. Not just say ohhhhh shucks you only wanna go to PIT so let's get you there and take a mid ass offer back

Good Luck BA. You was my draft crush at the time and my favorite 9er to watch.
It was fun while it lasted. Welcome to the Midwest and Good Luck!

Justin Jefferson got the bag and Sam Darnold as his starting QB all in the same year.

I'd wait and see what the return is before criticizing the organization. Although it may indeed be underwhelming.
But for the people making TO comparisons, I don't recall what we got for him though it's easy enough to look up. I just recall being tired of his antics and glad to see him go, great as he was.
And maybe it's more the player(s) than it is the organization. After TO left, yeah he was still good of course. But he burned his bridges with McNabb quickly and he played for 4 different organizations in his last 7 years. Teams were willing to bring him in because of the talent but none of them seemed that broken up about losing him either.
I doubt if teams are that willing to overpay or even fairly pay for a guy who looks like he's a headache. Yeah if he's good they will bring him in opening a change of scenery will work for everyone.
Sometimes it does, but for guys like TO, Antonio Brown at the end of his career, yes Le'Veon Bell, who thinks they are king you know what, they a lot of times wind up becoming disappointments or mercenaries at best, going from team to team.
I mean time will tell with BA. He is still early into his career. But if he doesn't happen he wouldn't be the first who saw dollar signs and greatness to receive some degree of comeuppance.
