Personally I would just sit his ass instead of taking a second rounder but then again maybe playing with Wilson and Fields is punishment enough. Either way the act is growing tiresome and I'm all about players getting paid.

lol -- your emotions are running high. Let's see what the final deal is and let things play out before we start calling for Lynch's head. He has proven to be one of the best in the business. Four appearances out of the last five NFC championship games and two SB appearances since he has been GM and he's not good?
Not to mention Lynch not bending to Aiyuks demands is f**king elite. Does it suck to lose an all pro receiver? Yes. But if we overpay one guy then every other position starts getting paid less or people thinking they can strong arm us into paying top dollar. We are a f**king destination team that players want to play for. You wanna be a lead blocker for Justin Fields as he scrambles even though you were wide open by all means have at it and enjoy that extra lambo in your driveway Aiyuk.

Possibly a 2nd rd pick and some backup receiver.
The 9ers should just stand firm and tell Aiyuk he's going nowhere this season.

Man if we don't get a legit receiver in the Aiyuk trade this will be an epic failure.

That's just not going to play well with other players around the league. Like it or not you don't want that image. I would bet there is some inside beef that is resulting in them saying he can go. No need to keep a malcontent around just to prove a point.

At this point, the 49ers have to play hardball. If they don't, they just open themselves up for the next player that wants to try this crap. I would pull the extension offer, and just let Aiyuk know they are "Leasing the Lambo at 14.1 million". That plus two franchise tags, and let Aiyuk fight for a long term contract at 29 - instead of 26.
