Dudes young and hasn't got a payday yet nows his opportunity to grab as much as he can. He has no leverage and I want the front office to strong arm him into a deal, but is it worth it to have a disgruntled player that's your #1 wide receiver in you locker room? It could damage the culture and send a bad message to the rest of the players entering in negotiations next year

Dude must have hated being a 49er.

If they give us the same as the others, trade him there. If not and he wants to play a leverage game, let him sit and just fine him the max you can until he comes back
so apparently the only thing to determine is which team he decides to join. I get the whole he wants to "get the bag" thing, but just seems kind of nonsensical. I mean really dude you wanna go to a team that has no realistic chance in hell of getting to or winning in the playoffs let alone the SB. Meanwhile you have that right here. Oh well, whatever dude.

Maybe he resents being in Kyle's dog house his first couple of years

Yup. If it's worth the extra 3 or 4 million a year and some guarantees, then he can kick rocks
I think Aiyuk is realizing that he doesn't actually want to be traded and that the 49ers have called his bluff.

But if you've been following he's not really disgruntled at the team only his contract situation. And what he's being offered is fair for both sides I can guarantee you. Look at the 9ers track record for contracts, Kittle, Trent Williams, Deebo, Bosa, Jimmy G.. The 49ers spend the money, they just do it to a point where it won't hurt the team. Aiyuk seems like he wants to be paid up there with Tyreek Hill. Hell no to that!!!
Lynch and Shanahan to Aiyuk - "If you choose to bluff, you must be prepared to have your bluff called."

Watch tomorrows report:

WTF Kendrick Bourne!!! f**k that, Jennings is better than Bourne. Please up that frickin offer NE!!!

Bourne wouldn't even make our roster. We have 6 WR's that are better than him. Imagine thinking Bourne is a replacement for Aiyuk. Lynch can't be that braindead. Having Bourne is worse than having no player in the deal because it means he is going to take a roster spot over one of our young WR's that won't make it through waivers.

That's business, Hill is older and Ayuik is entering his prime. The thing that bugs me that seems to be a trend is holding out of training camp then not being ready or as good of shape after your payday i.e Deebo. He better be ready to go once he gets his new deal

Agreed. Might as well just take the pick and maybe roll with Chris Conley as the back up veteran.

Deebo
Jennings
Pearsall
Cowing
Trent Taylor
Chris Conley

Might as well just roll with that or maybe add Hunter Renfrow from free agency.

I think this is likely
If BA decides to go to Cleveland or Foxboro he'll be the dumbest guy in NFL history.

In that case you just take what the Niners are offering you or you just play under the 5th year option because those are better options than playing for those 2 teams.
