The Browns also had a merry-go-round at the QB position.

I really don't think Cooper would be a bad return at all. Sure I would prefer a 2nd or Jack Conklin to go with him but Cooper is a reasonable centerpiece to an Aiyuk trade, especially if Aiyuk makes $30M+ a year and we only have to pay Cooper a very small amount.

Conklin is pretty broken down at this point. Not sure he'd be a plus in any trade.

Wyatt Teller.

Yeah touché I just looked up his contract and… overall he's probably a very neutral asset at this point. Such a shame because he's been a first All-Pro before.

I really would've liked to have resigned him. Unfortunately, now it doesn't look like it. There's so much to these things that we have no clue about. You have to remember that the first two years he was in the doghouse. Look at how he has behaved this off-season. I also remember the chiefs secondary coach discussing how he played in the Super Bowl and him saying the only thing #11 did all Super Bowl was try to fight.

there is probably so much behind-the-scenes with him. The 49ers just aren't willing to pay him what he wants because of the immaturity he probably has.

this does remind me of deforest Buckner in that we may regret this one day and wish we paid him.

I think Buckner regrets it more. We have continued to win, had another Super Bowl appearance. The only 49ers regret should be in picking Kinlaw.

I am on ream keep Aiyuk, due to his star rising, not even in his prime, and his health. He can contribute 5- 6 years from now. But I do wonder if he can shoulder being the focal point of an offense. That part remains to be seen.
Yep trading Buckner wasn't the mistake drafting Kinlaw was.

I could live with Teller & a 2nd
How's Cooper's run blocking
I wouldn't be mad with Cooper at all...Definitely seems like a trade is coming....FO failed...seems like it's time to move on

Why a one year rental. Makes zero sense. And if they could afford a Cooper contract next year they could afford BA this year.

It's a one pick or blow off is the message.

Because a one-year rental does way more to help us this year than a 2025 pick does?

This, and it would allow them to let Cooper walk if Pearsall is capable of stepping into his shoes while being able to keep Deebo.

I don't like either trade. But I get having Cooper or Bourne would soften the WR drop off for this season.

The thought of getting something like Bourne and a 2nd makes me sick. I'd literally rather just have Aiyuk all year on the sideline. Lol

bourne is coming off an ACL tear and probably wouldn't even make this team in a normal situation.

Strong 3-cone guy too

Agreed. Bourne would be a total failure.
I wouldn't be upset with Amari Cooper. Dude is old, but he's still good. I was always a fan of him when he was with the Raiders. His disposition reminds me of Frank Gore.

I love KB, but hell na.

I'm not surprised that BA is on his way out of SF, but I'm surprised the 49ers are actually capitulating to his petulant, whiny ass' trade demand.

Cooper and a 2 is ok, still mark it as a fail.
Only concern is can Cooper step in and make an immediate impact without knowing our complicated offense
Let's face it team, anyone we get in a trade will be a significant down grade on Brandon Aiyuk.

Except Adams from the raiders. Too bad they aren't a trade partner
Really don't want Bourne at all. Still want Aiyuk to get extended but Cooper and a 2nd would be a decent alternative.
