Doesn't matter if BA doesn't want to sign an extension there
Goes without saying. Wasn't CLE one of the teams willing to give him 30?
if they can't get a comparable deal like that, o see zero reason in trading him right now .

Take with a grain of salt. I do know this guys name from draft community stuff and he has the blue check thing for whatever that's worth. Not sure if someone posted already
Posted it pages ago….all the big insiders pretty much said no he's not dealt, yet.
unfortunately blue checkmarks mean nothing now. You can just buy it now. So it's pointless
Gotcha. Sorry didn't go back on the pages. Figured it meant nothing lol

Well we ain't trading him just because HE wants to be traded
He either has to
1) take the deal we offered or
2) play out this year at $14M and get tagged this offseason
That's business and he has to deal with it
Can any of you tell me a better scenario and give me any logic or reasoning as to why WE would trade Aiyuk away just because HE wants us to if we CHOOSE not to pay him what he wants right now?
Its really common sense
True, he doesn't have to show up for like half the season as well. He doesn't get paid either

Which defeats the point of his holdout he loses money he can't make up plus he turns in a s*** year which then nets him less money in FA
He will then look back to what we offered him in a winning situation with regret

Oh I agree, his leverage isn't great. Sounds like SF is actually letting him talk to teams to move him though

What we possess as a team right now is Aiyuk having to play for us at $14M this year and has to play well then we can tag him
What out there will move us off of that?
This is the perspective this should all be viewed in

If it is true that Clevelend or New England offered to pay him, but Aiyuk won't sign, it just really goes to show how deep his sense of entitlement goes! I thought it was ALL about the money and the "respect"?? Dude just literally wants everything his way, and nothing else. He thinks he is Jerry Rice or Calvin Johnson apparently, and LOL he's not even close. He thinks he has all of this leverage, and he just doesn't. He must be a lot of fun to play poker with! "Um yeah I got a red 2 and a red 5, and a black 8, black jack and a red queen - so I WIN, right!!!!" I keep shaking my head too, at Aiyuk plus former players/commentators - acting like 28 million a year will set Aiyuk and his family up for life, but somehow 26 million a year is dirt ass poor and he's going to be struggling....

As an insider I'll say he has not approved a trade deal that the niners had in place. His agent told him to sign two weeks ago. He wants to be a niner but won't sign the deal. He is definitely going to leveon bell hold out so he can accrue his year. That is all!

I agree, he makes even less than that if he starts missing games. So much would need to happen to move him. Has to be a place willing to meet his price, AND give the 9ers big compensation. My money says he sits out a few games before caving.

They're letting him take a shot from the tunnel like Steph Curry and if he makes he takes it but he's gonna find out he ain't Steph Curry
We are letting him throw up a prayer and he's gotta see if it's answered and if not he's gonna have to get it outta the mud just like the rest of us

No, it really doesn't. It's exactly the same as it's been all offseason. Obviously he would have to agree to a contract extension for ANY team to be willing to trade for him, so this is not new information at all. But if it was all about the money and "respect", then that shouldn't be a problem for him.
