Have to say, I did not see it playing out like this. I was always thinking we would lose Deebo at some point but not BA. After seeing how this has played out with other players, think I'm siding with the organization on this one, in that they are likely making fair offers to him. Hopefully they can fleece some team in a trade, otherwise let the dude sit out. Curious that this is getting so much more airtime than the TW situation. I think we could still win a Super Bowl without Aiyuk, but not without TW.

I just don't want the niners to settle for poor compensation. Massive failure trading for someone like D Adams or A Cooper.

if he was worth what he thinks he's worth, someone would have offered an agreeable trade package. He's not, and they didn't.

BA is good. Maybe great. But he doesn't have last years stats with 28 of the 32 NFL teams. Kyle is a quantifiable value-add to BAs 2023 statistics

Shanahan isn't holding out 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.

Nah that's not true. It's one thing paying a dude what's he's worth, it's another having to give up assets on top of it. He's not a FA. So what you think BA's Y/R was purely based off scheme? I'll disagree with that.

Trent is the best player at his position (and overall) in the league. He's basically out of GTD cash, he wants that s**t GTD and rightfully so.

Coaches get paid their money regardless if they get fired or not. Also we all know they don't count towards the cap. I have no idea what the point of bringing up a coach is?

SF has f**ked this up…they had all off season to move him. They could have moved him prior to the draft when teams had money to spend and draft picks that could be used to help SF now. They could have used freed up cap space to improve the team now.

instead it's August and we're f**king around with like 3 teams and more than likely getting something much less desirable then having a top 10 WR on a team who needs to win it all now.
Not a huge fan of Dieter, but this makes sense

The Shanahan contract portion was me being salty in jest.

I agree about Trent.

and I don't think you disagree with my opinion on Shanahan aiding BAs stats, so I won't respond. I didn't say "purely based off scheme", I said Kyle was a "quantifiable value-add" to the very stats BA is holding us hostage over. I think you agree with that, so not really worth debating 👍🏻

Cooper and a 2
Take with a grain of salt. I do know this guys name from draft community stuff and he has the blue check thing for whatever that's worth. Not sure if someone posted already

Doesn't matter if BA doesn't want to sign an extension there

And in typical fashion, Flash 80 never lets you forget he's Jerry.

Posted it pages ago….all the big insiders pretty much said no he's not dealt, yet.

unfortunately blue checkmarks mean nothing now. You can just buy it now. So it's pointless

You guys keep forgetting that the Niners ain't going to do Aiyuk any favors just as he keeps saying to us. No discount you can't afford a Lambo you can't have one

Well we ain't trading him just because HE wants to be traded

He either has to

1) take the deal we offered or

2) play out this year at $14M and get tagged this offseason

That's business and he has to deal with it

Can any of you tell me a better scenario and give me any logic or reasoning as to why WE would trade Aiyuk away just because HE wants us to if we CHOOSE not to pay him what he wants right now?

Its really common sense
