Trade him for Davante or trade him to the worst team in the league so he can waste his youth collecting cash and competing with young high draft picks.

Hate selfish mofos…

I wouldn't move him unless I really loved the compensation. I'm comfortable just holding onto him and him holding out all year.

lets just hope that if he gets traded - it's a great haul.

This! Trading him at all is a stupid move unless it's a significant overpay. This will immediately look about 5 times worse than the Buckner trade if they do this!

I understand that BA is a really good player and we are better with him, but I don't see us falling off a cliff without him either. This would only get really bad without him if we pile up injuries, which is very possible.

Well Deebo Kittle and Williams get injured every year and at least Aiyuk can get open quick. We need to keep our wrs together. Other teams like TB LAR LAC PHI SEA CIN and so on have kept their 2 very good wrs for many years so we should focus on that until our OL is great in pass pro at least

I think Friermuth is a good TE but that won't move the needle if we lose BA and draft capital next year

TE market isn't paying $30M for their position. Cooper/mcLaurin and especially Adams are all gonna want something close to that in a yr.

I want good young players that can be here for a while. None of those WRs fit that.

and to be clear I don't want Friermuth for BA at all. I'm just looking at that Pitt roster and seeing if anything makes sense there…which overall it doesn't

McClaurin is a way better option than Friermuth

True but I would take Pickens over anyone on their offense to at least balance out the loss and that wouldn't cost nearly as much. Plus we'd get draft capital also.

True but NY is looking at Pitt as a trade partner

Yup

Without question he's a better player. I'm looking at Pitt and how much someone else is gonna have to be paid.

Well you weren't cool with the idea of trading for Terry a minute ago and now you are justifying trading for an unenthusiastic handjob of a TE.

We can still keep high paid players on our roster. Philly has done it, we can do it. AB, the cap guru said as much (like I'm saying). The cap goes up each year and we will lose players like Greenlaw, Huf or a player like C Ward to stay under the cap.
