You'd better run that by Paraag. If we paid attention we saw we restructured guys and made cap space to rollover to this year in anticipation we'd need to extend our top tier A plus guys and that the cap would grow to give us more space

The recent news is a much apparently bonus for us and it does help in both adding and keeping talent. It's simple math. Arithmetic never lies

Just as Brock's rookie deal had a great effect so too does the salary cap expanding

We don't need cap space to resign BA. This has 0 effect

🤣🤣🤣. Said with such authority, incorrect as it may be.

I just logged off my Excel spreadsheet and erased the numbers and just conceded that the new developments will have no impact on our impending free agency decision making because I was told there'd be 0 effect

Now I will just sit back and watch it all happen
Resign BA. Lower his 2024 cap number. Restructure a few more contracts and keep kicking the salary cap can down the road. The cap keeps going up so it makes sense to continue to defer/spread out cap hits with restructures. Would prefer they signed the G from the Dolphins as well as an OT. The D line/CB spots need help also.

All you need to do is actually understand the salary cap.

Perhaps. Want some help? Your opinion would only be true if the only player we're considering is BA. We have other players to consider…. It's impossible for our payroll to have zero affect on our ability to resign any of them.

Cool. None of that has anything to do with what I said.

"More ammunition to get it done"

"it has zero affect"

Have a good Saturday 👍🏻

The almost 11 million cap releaf would be nice but we can get it elsewhere if needed.

He's getting extended. Only question is when. So you can do whatever you wanted to do in FA knowing BA's cap will likely hover around $7m this season.
So if we can get BA extended early the team has more money to play with in FA?
