Amazing. Another 49er that starts producing at a career high level in his contract year.

How long til Purdy is in a contract year?

If everything goes as well as it has been going, we pretty much have to give him an extension at the end of next season.

I say do it this year after the Super Bowl win and he will be so taken by us wanting to give him a raise he will sign a 8 year 25 million extension.

Per NFL rule, he is not eligible to get an extension at the end of this season, even if he gets a ring, MVP, and Superbowl MVP, and all pro first team.... doesn't matter.

God damn the NFLPA is so f**king weak. Just gets bent over and shown the 50 states
I can't believe how good of a route runner he has turned into. Plus how good his hands got. He catches everything. He kind of reminds me of Marvin Harrison. He's just always open and always catches everything. I never thought he would be this good. He's a true #1 WR. It's unbelievable. He is going to cost a bundle and I'm not sure we can afford to extend him. But enjoy him while he is here and maybe the franchise tag 1 additional year.

he is approaching uncoverable status. certain receivers are uncoverable.. I would say Antonio Brown with the Steelers, recently Cooper Kupp. I mean we were doubling Kupp and he was wide as bleep open on double teams. BA just cooks ppl with his route running. had Peterson on the ground on the first TD broke his ankles

B.A. actually stands for Breaking Ankles
Went from maybe a #1 wideout to top 10

Yeah I agree. He's the better route runner and probably better hands than Deebo. But Deebo does it another way. By being physical, breaking tackles, running over people, yards after catch. BA is a traditional WR. Route running, speed and excellent hands. He's almost unstoppable even though they know it's coming.
What we really havent seen that he showed in college is breakaway speed. I want to see him take some passes to the house!

i still remember one of his early moments when he straight up leapt over a dude vs Philly that was a classic

The #1 thing that kills his YAC is that he is always leaping to make the catch.

Brock Purdy isn't going to drop a 60 yard dime. Let the all time yac team take it to the house
We might be seeing something that will rival the greatest show on turf

Yea, JTO pointed this out on that play where Purdy moved up in the pocket and hit him on the crosser.

I honestly don't think he has 'great' hands. Definitely good and well beyond good enough. Even on that first td his catch was a little weird (very technical I know).
