Team BA all the way. Love me some Deebo but when the bridge needs to be crossed give me the non diva, filthy, grungy, more healthily option.
The majority of the best WRs in NFL history have been divas.
Not the GOAT tho, or the GOAT before that GOAT, or the GOAT before that
You must be young.
No I'm not Steve, but I know who the GOAT WR was, try figuring it out SWH, I thought you would get it
The GOAT WR, who is probably the GOAT NFL player in general, was absolutely a diva.
no way on Earth man
You saying that is why I assumed you are young and not old enough to really have seen Jerry with us. He was a diva for sure. But he was so unbelievable talented, that it didnt matter.
Let's define 'diva'. So we know what each other are talking about.
Diva is the following
celebrating on the star
punting footballs in prax
threatening the GM
not running the scramble drill or prax hard
not showing for prax at all
going thru the motions in game, half effort
writing a book about how you need the football
quitting on the team mid game
necessitating the team moving you, cuz you are too hard to deal with
Rice was none of this. Steve Young tells the story of going to clean out the locker, after the season, and a guy is out there practicing hard a few days after the season was over, it was Rice.
He had a Jordan/Brady work ethic, and set the standard for being a professional or the 49er way. Deion and Rice actually didn't get along, cuz Deion was a prima donna diva, he was notorious for that, and Rice wasn't. Rice was all business. They actually got into it prior to our SB win.
