The majority of the best WRs in NFL history have been divas.

Not the GOAT tho, or the GOAT before that GOAT, or the GOAT before that

You must be young.

No I'm not Steve, but I know who the GOAT WR was, try figuring it out SWH, I thought you would get it

If you look at my posts over the years, I've always stated that Deevah is NOT a WR.. that he is a great GADGET... I've always compared him to a Percy Harvin type of player.. again, now that we have CMC, Deevah's value to this team had just gotten lesser..

.. and since your one of the Shananigans here, why don't u ask yourself, IF DEEVAH WAS REALLY THAT GREAT, HOW COME SHANNY DID NOT GET HIM THE BALL MUCH IN THE 2ND HALF OF THE SUPER BOWL AGAINST KC ??

Deebo had 1 carry for 14 yards in the first drive of the 2nd half.

Deebo caught a short pass he turned into 16 yards on the second drive of the 2nd half. That drive resulted in a touchdown to go up 20-10.

From that point on, we ran 17 more offensive plays. Deebo was targeted three times and Jimmy went 0 for 3 with a pick.

Pretty stupid point you were trying to make there, Moon.

The GOAT WR, who is probably the GOAT NFL player in general, was absolutely a diva.

You saying that is why I assumed you are young and not old enough to really have seen Jerry with us. He was a diva for sure. But he was so unbelievable talented, that it didnt matter.

Wonder how Rices social media woulda looked if it were around. Judging by some of his Twitter posts defending AB I'm pretty happy social media didn't exist.

Let's define 'diva'. So we know what each other are talking about.

Diva is the following

celebrating on the star
punting footballs in prax
threatening the GM
not running the scramble drill or prax hard
not showing for prax at all
going thru the motions in game, half effort
writing a book about how you need the football
quitting on the team mid game
necessitating the team moving you, cuz you are too hard to deal with

Rice was none of this. Steve Young tells the story of going to clean out the locker, after the season, and a guy is out there practicing hard a few days after the season was over, it was Rice.
He had a Jordan/Brady work ethic, and set the standard for being a professional or the 49er way. Deion and Rice actually didn't get along, cuz Deion was a prima donna diva, he was notorious for that, and Rice wasn't. Rice was all business. They actually got into it prior to our SB win.

Okay we agree. To me a Diva is a player who thinks he's greater than the team. If anyone can honestly say that about Deebo then they are clueless. AB, Moss, Ochocinco, Irvin and TO thought they were bigger than the team. They thought people came just to watch them.

I think that is a tremendous way to put it.. putting themselves ahead of the team.

that someone could say that's Jerry Rice is beyond me.

and one might say, you are the only one who has posted, and pushed the idea that Jerry was a diva

I love Rice more than any player ever but he was definitely a diva. You overlook it when the value of what they bring is greater than the diva stuff. If Rice did all that, but had JJ Stokes's career, he would've been unbearable.

I fall just short of calling him a diva. He mostly kept stuff in house. He appeared to put wins higher than personal success, but also felt he gave the best chance for team success. And pushed teammates to be better rather than insult them.

TO is the epitome of diva. And the Eagles' seasons etched it in stone. Personal above team, team can not succeed without me.

To me a diva will rip teams apart. Their play elevates stats, but attitude makes teammates hate being around.
