LOL... the minute he asks for a trade then it's his attitude that got him in the dog house..

" It's getting old " !!
Somebody had to get the targets and catches last year. He got lots of action by default. He made some awesome, highlight plays that mainly showed his ability with the ball in his hand.
however, he had quite a few awful drops or balls that he tipped up and were picked. He's not a natural receiver but more of a playmaker. He doesn't have great instincts to find and dig in the soft spots of the d or the nuance to shake good man coverage.
he should be the lung and kick returner and get a few end around sand screens every game to get him going.

I actually think that he's more the natural WR then Deebo while Deeboh is MORE of the playmaker when the ball is in his hands..
Aiyuk definitely needs more screens and slants thrown his way. He is a lot like Deebo in the sense that he is a playmaker with speed and not necessarily a burner or a polished route runner who can beat man coverage consistently. While he did catch some deep passes in college, they were primarily by design and passes to the deep middle of the field. If folks think he is going to consistently take the top off the defense on the outside, they are setting themselves up for disappointment. He is not that kind of wr. We just need to get the ball in his hands so he can do what he does best and that is yac.

Deebo is a similar archetype, different build though and stronger, better hands. Aiyuck is more finesse while Deebo is violent and plays mad. They are both great for Kyle's offense OF the running game is humming. They are not great when the offense is vanilla and in long yardage situations. Although Deebo has been good all year
Deebo is more like Anquan while Aiyuk is Fitz. I think Aiyuk looks the smoothest of all our receivers by a long shot. Deebo is a beast but he's just outsourcing everyone. Aiyuk does it with technique. He's just getting no love right now and he's been wide open tons of times

He had only 4 drops last year. Doesn't seem like that much. This year it has been a bigger problem.

Huh? Utilizes the WR's?

Like our WR who was 2nd in the league in receiving yards coming into Sunday?

he probably meant utilizes all his WRs, also on a side note Kittle didn't break that record with Jimmy at the helm

It's hilarious that everyone is blaming Kyle for Aiyuk's terrible lazy off-season & disappearing act. Instead of improving he is giving us his best Dante Pettis impression. Aiyuk has played almost every snap last 2 weeks. So Kyle's gotta go out there an call every play for him? He can't even get open. If Aiyuk wants to be a great WR then prove you can be. Shanahan can't be out there on the field holding his hand for him.

Source for him being lazy?

He has an insane catch radius. He has great catch technique very natural. Where are you getting this?

I thought he was supposed to be good at punt returns? 🤔
