It was injury related. The attitude issue was a bad rumor.

After the game, Kyle Shanahan was asked about the situation and at first, he gave a very understandable answer, "We started Trent. They've been rotating a lot throughout the preseason, but Aiyuk has only been back for a week after he tweaked his hamstring and we want to be smart with that."

NBC Sports' Matt Maiocco said Brandon Aiyuk "tailed off dramatically" during training camp and is "still learning how to be a pro."

Pretty concerning there. Sounds kind of like Petri's situation with the 2nd yr slump, drops, etc.

That's crazy. I drafted him in all my leagues. He looked on his way to become a stud. We never said that about Dante's peak Pettis
