So Aiyuk ignored the advice of the NFLPA to challenge the 49ers taking back his guaranteed money because he thought allowing them to take it back would release him from the contract. I guarantee his agent and the NFLPA tried to tell him that's not how it worked and he ignored them and/or thought he knew better than them. Now he's pissed because he's not a free agent like he expected and he still refuses to follow the process to move his situation along (requesting for reinstatement) because his ego can't accept that he was the one that screwed up. No, he blames his agent by firing him and says the NFLPA is conspiring against him. Amazing.

Yeah I was wondering this too, honestly no one has smeared his name but himself. I do remember him getting upset because he was still represented by his agent he supposedly fired on the nflpa website if that's what he's referring to 🤷‍♂?

But it doesn't add up because he was with team training/on sidelines during preseason. If that's what he thought wouldn't he have expected to already be cut? Why did he not quit until late Oct?

He's going to end up slumped over a wheel like Aldon Smith. Within 10 years.
