I cannot imagine any player on the Niners would want him back since he b***hed out on their run last year. He could have a made an honest difference, but he's too busy living in his head.

Still haven't heard anyone say they saw him showing he can cut post injury. He's most likely done.

Do they have to suck his cock on ESPN too?

If that's what it takes to win a Super Bowl...

Yeah, no. Let's not get absurd. Might as well say if child sacrifice guaranteed a Super Bowl win you'd back a GM performing the ceremony.

Reality is that some things are not worth selling out your integrity for. People gotta live their lives outside of sports sometimes. Sheesh.

Well, you were the one that started with the absurd suggestion. An apology is not the equivalent to a child sacrifice or performing fellatio on TV. If it all it took to smooth things over with Aiyuk was for the FO to apologize for their role in this mess, then I'd hope they'd put their pride aside and do it. Managing the egos of your star players and keeping them happy is just part of the job.

We should be doing what we need to do to win the Super Bowl. We were in the Super Bowl with Aiyuk. We haven't gotten past the divisional round since he left the team and a big problem against the Seahawks was our receivers' inability to get open.

Boo hoo, negotiations were tough. Boo hoo Aiyuk got a huge contract that he willingly signed. Why am I supposed to empathize with him, exactly?

You seem desperate to make the 49ers the bad guy here.

Apologize for what? For expecting him to honor the contract they just gave him? This s**t is entirely upon him, I don't see how you could even think otherwise if you live in the real world of facts and reality. That was even before he decided to act a complete fool on social media. I think his chances of ever playing football again are precipitously plunging with every asinine out burst and show of unprofessional behavior. I think it sucks, because I liked him as a player, and he appeared to be on a good trajectory. Regardless of the football situation, the manner he is behaving makes me worry about his well being, and I do care about that.

He didn't make a difference in the superbowl he was here for, you are thinking he is going to be better than he was then after shredding his knee? Your entire premise is dumb. They have no reason to apologize to him, and everyoine but you and Aiyuk know it, and they cannot do it because it would wealen them in every contract negotiation from here on out. You are being so ridiculous I can only assume you are trolling.

49ersRing you need to be suspended for that comment. lol.
I sure hope your just messing with people.

The idea we even want him back is blasphemy. It's only a matter of time he turns on teammates as he has the coach and gm. He is a waste of a roster spot and getting to the point where everyone just wants him to Kapernick and disappear. Let him go blow all his money and be found player arena football to pay the bills. Over it.
This guy in jail yet

You could put all of Aiyuk's immature antics and the fractured relationship aside and he's still a player nearly two years removed from football, coming off a major injury, with a massive salary.

There are a couple dudes in here (9moon,SanDiego, etc), I got their cell numbers and they got those four you mentioned on speed dial... I'll make sure to text them your message. Afterwards, those 4 need to apologize to you next

Who said you had to empathize with him? This is only about doing what it'd take to get the best players we have available to us out on the field. If you feel like Aiyuk can still play at a high-level, then it might be a good idea to try to mend the fence even if some people in our FO have to swallow their pride. If you don't think he can still play at a high-level, then we might as well release him as nobody is going to trade for him under his current deal.

Harsh? Try just dumb comment. Trying to ruffle feathers with such a comment. Not even worth it. It's funny how it's bad to some people that others are patriotic.
