I hope he gets the Kaeppernick treatment. Every team shouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole cause he is toxic.

I got into it with Smokey too; saying that I would do exactly what the Niners are doing. A lot of people thought that he'd be cut by now; but from the beginning I didn't think that would be the case. Why the hell give him exactly what he wanted and I believe orchestrated?
Well I finally figured out why BA chose the #11. It's his IQ! And he wanted it on his chest so he wouldn't forgetited!

I wish the 49ers would just drag his punk ass to court and sue him for the signing bonus, before he blows it all. I don't know what they are waiting for, unless he has to be officially off the team first.

Man we got some trailblazers huh? Nobody in the history of the league has done what Kap did and then now this whole Aipuke thing

All the 49ers are doing is holding him in an attempt to trade him. I honestly don't remember what you specifically said, but I do remember what Pillbusta said, and it's a far cry from the current situation.

His argument and suggestion completely ignored the 49ers interests, which are to not pay him what he's owed on his contract and to clear the dead cap charges they will take once he's released (or traded).

I did think the 49ers would release him at the start of the new league year, but they have decided it's worthwhile to keep him and hope a trade materializes. Smart if it happens. Unlikely it will. This dance is temporary.

He's just being dumb. Or his agent is behind this, encouraging him to do it. I really don't know. I do not know BA. I don't trust any article that contains lines such as "inside sources tell me" or "a source that does not wish to be identified." It just means crap and the writer (hesitant to use the word reporter) just made it up.

I do think someone may be whispering into BA's ear to do this. But, like many players who have done this, I don't see how it will help him. BA was a good player for the 49ers. He was not, and will never be, the greatest of all time. But he was good. He had some great games. Seemed to have a real chemistry with Brock. For as long as that lasted. It seems evident the 49ers will hold onto him in the hopes of forcing a trade. If the Commanders really wanted this guy, and I mean they really wanted him, it seems like they could have coughed up something by now. Who knows if they have offered something or not?

So many unknowns...

Yeah I think I said something along the lines of keeping him on the "did not report list" and not giving him what he wants by cutting him. You argued with me that they can't do that and that he'd be getting cut asap.

I think our disagreement was that you said they can't do it; with the thinking that he could just report, therefore not being able to keep him on that list. I didn't think he'd report, which he hasn't, and I don't think he will. Diva drama queens with money have too much ego to go to the place they blame for the whole situation.

That might be a disagreement too because I seem to recall you; not necessarily being a supporter of Aiyuk with this mess, but maybe not thinking Aiyuk did anything wrong to deserve it. I don't know and also don't want to get into it again.

Not a big deal, in the end he's eventually going to get cut; which is what we both agreed on. Disagreement was when and I'm glad the 49ers aren't giving this drama queen baby what he wants.

What my argument was, and this goes back to conversations with Pillbusta as well, is that they cannot keep him on the left squad/reserve list indefinitely as a punitive measure. They especially can't do it as a means of avoiding the contract repercussions (again, going back to Pillbusta's argument).

FYI there hasn't been any mandatory team activities yet this season. The first was just cancelled due to 100 percent attendance at voluntary OTA's. No idea if he will attempt to be reinstated when mandatory activities commence. Probably not, lol.
for Brandon, you want out so bad restructure your contract and give back our money then you can GTFO.

I'm hearing by keeping him on the left squad list indefinitely we don't have to pay him and we get to keep the cap hits structure as is so that's advantageous to us and our salary cap accordion math

If we cut him irrationally without our hands being forced we then have to take an immediate cap hits for his salary bonus

So if he wants to be released he needs to tuck his tail and show up at 49ers HQ and force our hands but if not we will continue to enjoy the accordion math on his signing bonus we're currently enjoying

So like I said. We won't be doing him any favors. We will instead do ourselves a solid without thinking about what BA wants at all!!

We are d****** him just like he d***** us as we should!

Lombardi states otherwise

The 49ers can keep BA until the end of his contract on the left squad list and they're advantaged to do so according to the accordion math they've worked into his signing bonus

BA can't get any money unless he ticks his tail and reports to 49er HQ. Once he does there's a warrant out for his arrest so he's going to jail and once he's released and tries to come back the 49ers will cut him to avails paying him

As of right now the 49ers can hold BA as he's under contract for a couple more years on the left squad list WITHOUT having to pay him unless he REPORTS, gets arrested and released and hence show back up to 49ers HQ where we will cut him

To get free BA needs to NOT speed by 49er HQ, deal with the police and his warrant and then come back to 49ers HQ minus the COMMANDERS hat and get his release

We aint letting him go otherwise because we have that power by his contract and the CBA and we're gonna be the kings of petty because it's actually helping our pockets right now

lets see what happens by 9/1/26!
