So what does that make him for doing what he did? You know how dumb you have to be to be upset that they aren't doing him any favors and to be upset about it? this is all brought a long on himself.

I think the niners lawyers are just waiting for this entire saga to end before clawing back money from him. They just know that he can do certain things between now and sept that makes their case stronger. I bet they've been documenting everything.

Exhibit One: Calling us names publically
Exhibit Two: Publically pushing to go to another franchise while under contract and wearing their gear.
Exhibit Three: Publically recording and posting racing down a street - aka breaking the law.
Exhibit 32523298: disappearing and abandoning the team.

etc etc etc. all of these things can legally be argued.

How the 49ers Can Recover Money Already Paid to Aiyuk The 49ers voided Aiyuk's 2026 guarantees but he already received ~$31 million in signing and option bonuses. To claw back any of that money, they must prove a Forfeitable Breach under the CBA. They have two main legal avenues:

1. Reserve/Left Squad Designation (Tolling Route)
Aiyuk was placed on this list after refusing to attend mandatory knee rehab The team can argue he walked away from his contractual obligations If they win a grievance with an arbitrator, they can demand repayment of the prorated signing bonus for the time he sat out His contract can also be "tolled" (frozen), preventing him from playing elsewhere until he repays or sits out the remaining contract years
2. Fine Recoveries via Withholding Salary
Aiyuk accumulated extensive unexcused absences from meetings and team activities Under CBA Article 7, teams can levy daily fines for missing mandatory rehab, meetings, and minicamps The 49ers can withhold his remaining game checks and workout bonuses to offset the accumulated fines — no lawsuit required In short, the 49ers' strategy combines a formal grievance process to recoup bonus money with an automatic fine-offset mechanism against any remaining salary owed.

I think Aiyuk is ignorant to how serious this situation is and what's coming next, that's just my opinion. You can't do what he did and think you're going to walk away with all those millions and go play where you want. lol

He is a little b***h. Always has been. That's why Fred went after his ass.

The October 19 game is going to be fun. Keep your head on a swivel, BA.
Anyone else find it weird how enamored he is with Jayden Daniels? I get that was his QB in college but he's not helping himself at all if or when the Commanders come knocking. I can almost guarantee Aiyuk is going to want 20M+ a year which I'd be shocked if he got and he's giving them all the leverage while turning off other potential suitors that might bid on him at the same time all because he can't keep his bromance to himself
If I owned the 49ers he'd play in Santa Clara or not play at all. If he wants to sit 2 more seasons fine by me. I'd take this very personal if I were the 49ers. *uck him. He made this personal. No way I'm letting him have his way

I may be in the minority but I don't think BA plays this year.

1. He has to show up to camp for the 49ers to force the trade, will be interesting if he does that. IF he does that, he has to pass all his physical etc. The situation gets complicated fast but if he doesn't show up - the niners can leave him on the "Left Team" list indefinitely and not have to pay him.

2. I guarantee the niners are going to claw back a bunch of money from him. If he doesn't show up to camp, they'll just fine the s**t out of him.

Niners aren't going to let him go until the week before the season. So if the commanders sign, it'll probably be practice squad for a month or two to get him up to speed. Just a wild situation and I dont think he plays this year. the nfl might step in to make a statement so other players don't do this.
What a f**king loser

You'd pay him 30M a year to sit on the bench, take a roster spot, and continue to eat a cap space?

Idk if any team wants him but if he was placed on the practice squad couldn't another team claim him?

I meant the commanders practice squad, not ours. lol I should of been more clear, my bad. Yes, he can be signed by any team if he's on the practice squad but I think Washington would put him there first if he's not released until sept 1.

I believe it's cheaper to keep him than to get hit with his accelerated cap number if he's cut, a trade may be his only way out in 2026. Could be wrong but his salary also isn't paid if he doesn't show up and this team can just accrue penalties on him to cover that cost or the time he's walked away. He could always retire and help both sides move away from his deal.

I know you meant on the commanders practice squad but couldn't say the browns or Steelers pick him off if they added him to their 53? Idk if the commanders have the luxury to store him on the practice squad to get him up to speed.
That does make me think though now that you mention… Couldn't the 9ers put him on the practice squad if he does show up? It'd be crazy petty and you'd still need to pay him but that would keep him away from the main team nor count as a roster spot and I don't think any team is picking up his contract

That'd be great if he retires but if he ever unretires his contract goes back into affect

I'm not defending him... it's just that our fanbase get all delusional at times, lie to themselves, then when things don't go as they expect they lose it and get personal... and they come off as bitter ex-girlfriends.

So put bias aside, we know Aiyuk was All Pro for a reason... we know he has wanted off this team. We know most NFL teams, if not all, just care about winning and will let s**t go to try a player. Logic will tell you he will play great on another team. The only concern is how he comes back from injury, and he's given himself the best scenario by not chancing injury late last year for the Front Office he despises. He'll be fully recovered and what ever happens, happens.

We should worry about who we have on the team.. and also learn from what ever mistakes that might have happened from the front office/Coach's end that we have lost a potential great player. So it doesn't happen again. I know some will be like "well I don't want that kind of player on my team anyway!!!"... well that kind of player might be someone loved right now, who might eventually be in a similar situation.... they will have an example of how to get off the team if they feel screwed over.

Man you talking to men up in here. Real certified dudes. This ain't about feminine energy up in here. This is straight testosterone. Aiyuk tried to punk us so now we punking him. With or without him the show goes on but at the same time he stuck it to us so we serving him d*** in his back just like he tried to do us.

Thats it!

So we don't need you to be coming in here trying to accuse our fans of femininity unless they happen to be women but even then your tone is derogatory

We real fans in here and we put our team first over any player. And what Aiyuk did was a punk move and as such the team is rightfully reciprocating upon him the same energy he gave us

The only way this stops is he humbles himself and reports to duty forcing our hand or someone comes with a nice deal. Otherwise he can continue to sit while we stand pat. We've moved on without him but we still gonna punk him until we can't no more as we should to let that be a lesson to him and anyone else who wants to try to son this team

B.itch A.ss! is the only b***h I see
He doesn't get it. All this will do is make them keep him for last possible minute.
Ayuk has no legal leverage so the only he can do is to get the 9ers to cut him for being a distraction. I doubt his desperation move will work. Ultimately, he screwed himself.
