LOL. Kiss of Death move. Every time a former 49er gets moved to NFL Talk with "So and So is now a ____________," it dies a slow death.

You may have competition for that honor.

The guy is really not costing the team any cap space and a spot if we hold on to him right?

Just cut him and move on.

Could a "kiss and make up" reunion be in the works?

We have a better chance of the Raiders giving us Crosby for a 2027 7th round pick.

There's an old saying in Tennessee—I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee—that says, 'Fool me once, shame on...shame on you.' Fool me—you can't get fooled again.

Why cut him now? There is no incentive. Let him wait. Let teams fill needs via FA and let the draft take place. Niners benefit zero by cutting him now. They don't even benefit with cap until 6/1 anyways. Make an example. Other FO's are well aware of what Aiyuk did. Lynch has impeccable reputation amongst GMs. He has league wide clout to let Aiyuk dangle.
Waiting is the best move.

There may be a team that will need to take a chance in a trade.

We can cut him at any time we want.
sorry to the folks who want to string him along...

it doesn't seem like it.

Unfortunate timing on your part, Schefter just reported we've no plans to cut him anytime soon.

Now what could be happening across the NFL in that span?? Hmmmm
trade him to the browns for a 2040 7th round pick. Let him suffer with no qb and no chance to win
