Goodell knew the 49ers would run through the NFL this year if we had a competent WR1, so he paid Aiyuk a boat load of money to go AWOL on us so we don't get #6. He is an evil juan this commish.

Team has moved on. When will he?
Lol the fact that he hasn't moved on and is just buying s**t to show he is still something lol. Soft.
Meanwhile........anyone know how his rehab is going?

Or, are these attempts to kick start a second career telling us exactly what we need to know about how his rehab is going?

He's a basket case. Who cares
Why cant the 49ers move Aiyuk for a pick? Surely some teams are interested. Especially teams that know he isn't signing with them as a free agent.
They could but imo no teams are taking on that contract, especially after the injury and drama.

There's no guarantees for next season,I thought?
We don't need an extra thread to talk about a potential trade that may or may not happen...also it made it seem like a trade happened.

It can go in here.

His guarantees are void but his future money is still owed if he remains on a roster under his current deal. So if someone was to trade for him they will owe him $26 million this coming year. A trade will only happen if Aiyuk and a team agrees to a reworked deal. Not sure why any team would do that.

PROBLEM FOR A TRADE - The guy already demonstrated if he doesn't want to play for you, he'll just no show or give lame effort. Rumor is he only wants to play for Commanders. So the only team that would trade is one that is making sure he doesn't go elsewhere would need BA's agreement and a reworked contract - I'm sure he'll demand adding back some guaranteed money in a new contract.

9ers should still try to get even a 7th for him, lol.

KARMA - would be if Commanders decline adding BA because of his demonstrated antics.

The Aiyukdaily fan page said it all. It basically said dude cashed out made a money grab then quit ball quit on the team. The next CBA will have legal recourse for these actions going forward because here Aiyuk actually lacked integrity. The handshake at the end of the signing meant nothing to him. The team thought they purchased more services from a player but they knew not that they were only funding his retirement fund

95% agree - only caveat is he might try to get paid again by Commanders :)

He will get paid again, todays NFL doesn't care about the personal issues if a guy can play.
