Cleveland would offer a contract, which would be pretty ironic.

It's difficult for teams to give a deal for a quitter. That lb we had last year is out of the league. You do have dionte Johnson, who refused to go into a game and got another opportunity, but I just don't know with Aiyuk. I don't think he's very interested much in playing but maybe he will feel like it next year

He would fit in with the Raiders.

If Pete Carroll survives, I can't see him signing off on this.

You refuse to go into a game for me it better be a home game because you can find your own way home
What will he get? A one year prove it deal with a modest salary, nothing guaranteed. That will likely offend him and he'll be driving by their stadium too.

lol
Tired of seeing this thread, this whole situation needs to just be done with.
Patton, he's probably going to get cut in June. And it's hard to imagine him laying low between now and then.
Classic Reno person. Mentally ill, super weird reckless, self-serving vibe. Not a good look, to say less.

I think what's most likely is that a team offers him a restructured "prove it" 1-year deal at like $15M, which we then trade and get something. For example, with the Steelers (Since it looks like DK is gone) or KC (they could desperately use a guy like BA. Or with the commies (he loves their qb). Etc

If something like that can't be worked out, I think we will post June 1 cut him. The team will likely hold onto him until the last minute, June 1, before making a move to hope a team caves and works a trade.

BA is incentivized to try and help get a trade cause if he has to wait until june 1 to get a deal, a lot of money and rosters are set by that point. He has a better chance getting the best offer he can early in FA.

That's just my perspective on it. Then again, it's shocking he gave up all that money over whatever he's butt hurt about. He's super talented but always seemed overly sensitive to me. Especially on the "pivot" podcast.

I will be glad when the day comes when we can move this conversation to NFL Talk.

not defending Aiyuk at all hes become a bit of a ... character

but i would trade him for anything if possible even if its a 6th round pick
They are not going to keep him. They want out of that contract and that's what they are doing. Don't be ridiculous.
