He's probably hurt. Seeing his teammates battling... wants to be out there with them. But at the same time, he's doing what he feels is right for himself (not taking the chance of getting physically hurt). He's probably getting pulled from many directions.. Family can be saying one thing, Teammates could be saying another, agent can be saying another... and his own feelings about the situation.

He's probably at the depression part. But that's what happens with breakups... just have to stay out of trouble until you get to the acceptance part lol.

Stage 1 Denial "THEY WHAT? hell na they didn't take my monies"
Stage 2 Bargaining "Well what if we do this?"
Stage 3 Anger "f**k it then, I'm not getting hurt for the FO. I'll just wait until I can go to a new team"
Stage 4 Depression "I want to dance with Jauan in the endzone "
Stage 5 Acceptance "aaah a new team...a new life... a new opportunity 😌"

Hurt from what? Hurt from the fantastic contract that the niners offered him and HE accepted and signed? Hurt from the fact that they moved away from Debo and the plan was to make him the number one focus? What exactly are you implying that he was hurt by? Was it his coach asking him to wear the assigned uniforms as the rest of the team? At what point do you expect him to accept accountability for his actions or is that just the way you were raised that it's always someone else's fault.

So how does the supposed voiding of guarantees affect our salary cap space? Is it already reflected at Spotrac?

I'm curious of this too, The thing that I'm frustrated with is even though he's completely broke the contract agreement and is a no show nor picking up the phone he still gets the rest of that guaranteed $ and we take a cap hit if we cut him from what I understand

Now THAT is "weird" to claim.

He was our best WR since T.O.

Hell he might have been our only All Pro WR since T.O.

Obsessed over a guy who quit on the 49ers and then laughing at your own takes. That's "weird."

I hope you enjoy being a fan of the team that BA goes to and wish you both well. Maybe then you will rid this forum of your inane takes.

Who are you again? You've been here since 2011 right? You should remember me, but I don't remember you. You're about my age so you've seen the WRs we've had since T.O. So back up that statement.

"BA was never close to the highest caliber of WR we are accustomed to."

^ That's what I'm laughing at. Inane takes he says lol.

which WR is of a higher caliber than Aiyuk? I loved Boldin, but no the older version was not. Crabtree? 🤣 Older version of Issac Bruce, Randy Moss? Jeremy Kerley?

Dude was voted All Pro for a reason. He proved to be one of the best in the whole league.

Oh no, don't stop there.. continue please.

Someone asked how can someone make that kind of stupid decision, I gave a possible reason. Now for some reason you get the impression I am backing up Aiyuk for that stupid decision. How about you go back a few pages and see my original reaction to that video, before speaking out of your ass.

Love Hitner and that is great advice; but I don't want this guy anywhere near this team. The chemistry is so good right now

Pretty sure a non toxic person would have done this way before things got to this point .

This seems to be an agreeable take, all things considered.

I don't think anything changes until we make a decision on trade/release.

The main thing from my understanding is that releasing him will result in a much lower cap/dead money hit because of the voided guarantees.

I would not be surprised if Aiyuk doesn't play another regular season snap in the NFL.

Cleveland would offer a contract, which would be pretty ironic.

It's difficult for teams to give a deal for a quitter. That lb we had last year is out of the league. You do have dionte Johnson, who refused to go into a game and got another opportunity, but I just don't know with Aiyuk. I don't think he's very interested much in playing but maybe he will feel like it next year
