Brandon Aiyuk is a 49er! Pick #25, 2020 NFL Draft

I'm telling you guys, someone on the staff or team slept with his wife.
Let's compare the two:

Fred Warner
Brandon Aiyuk

Both wanted to get paid. Both got paid. Both got hurt after being paid. Fred is doing everything he can to get back this year. Meanwhile, Aiyuk is 14 months clear from his injury and is refusing to play. Such a me first attitude from Aiyuk. He's lost respect from everyone in the locker room.

We won't cut him. We will wait as long as we have to trade him and force him to go where ever we decide. We will fine and enforce all the monetary penalties for missed meetings and practices. Aiyuk really is an idiot.
Seriously though, what's Aiyuk's beef? We didn't let him rehab like he wanted to? All this over that? That makes zero sense. That can't be it. He's forfeiting millions of dollars over rehab preferences? It can't just be that he doesn't want to be on the team anymore. He signed an extension. It ain't about targets or volume. He'd have every opportunity to be the #1 WR on this team. It ain't about winning or losing. This team has 10 wins with all our injuries. This whole charade is mind boggling.

That's because you are getting one side of this story. I'm not sure Aiyuk's reasoning for whatever action(s) ended up allowing the team to void his guaranteed money will make any real sense, but that's the only actual thing that matters here. It should be no real surprise he wasn't returning to play once that action was taken.

Maybe as fans, we're overthinking all this about Aiyuk.

Maybe he's just not very smart.

He obviously doesn't know what he wants, except that he wants to be out of San Francisco. I hope John Lynch and the front office abide by Aiyuk's desires and get him outta here. He's irrelevant to this team now. Whatever happens to the Niners over the remainder of the season, he's not part of it.

Aiyuk is an "I" guy, not a "team" guy, and he's toxic. The player he reminds me most of is DeVondre Campbell, another "I" guy who quit on his team. The difference is that Campbell refused to go into a game. Aiyuk refused to even show up to play in a game. That's worse, and that's why he's worthless.

There are 31 other teams in the NFL, and one of them will surely sign Brandon Aiyuk (and he'll surely quit on them, too).

We will find out what his motives are eventually. Im betting he truly thinks he's a Jamaar Chase/Justin Jefferson level WR and wants to get the targets those 2 get normally. And his besty Daniel's is probably telling him if he comes to Washington he will feed him more balls than Riley Reid. Dudes gonna be woefully humbled when he realizes the reason he had all that separation here is cause CMC and Kittle are the first 2 players defenses were concerned with.
I knew when dude said he was the 5th option on this team, his days were numbered.

That's a lot of wishful thinking, but not realistic. He wasn't an "I" person on the field... he blocked his ass off so his teammates can shine... put his body on the line for his QBs.

The fact that he still keeps close to his college teammates shows me he's loyal.. even when he's made it big.

Aiyuk refused to put his body on the line for the Front Office.... his teammates understand him, like most players in the league understand each other. They know they can be next, regarding Front Offices playing games. Jauan already experienced how s**t can be, after all the hard work he's done for the team. Jauan had fans talk s**t about him when he was trying have assurance this season/extention...and talked s**t about him when he was hurt. Media being mouth pieces for the FO.

Yes, watch his interview I keep bringing up. He talked about how he views himself. He put up just as good #s with way less passes thrown his way. I mean there is a reason he was elected All Pro. He's one of the best in the league, and was voted so by his peers.

Why we still talking about him?

Don't worry, now that it is official he's not coming back on the team.. you will see this thread slowly fall to the second page.

Unless more leaks come out lol.
Kyle, "hasn't had a reason to think about him in a long time"
Hasn't communicated in over a month..oof. It is too bad how things worked out, BA was a heck of a player, would be great to see him and Brock do their thing again.. but..not gunna happen. Dude seems like he has an attitude problem and I guess he will take that somewhere else.
Dude has something going on in his brain. To willfully walk away from guaranteed money and not even bother showing up is legit crazy.

He doesn't want to play anymore. He wants the cash and just wants to go chill. I bet he takes another pay day, then ends up in the same situation, that or, he's mentally not in it after that bad of an injury.
