There are no words to express how much I hate this thief
Some 9er fans, sports fans in general, are lunatics. Yall use too much energy to hate something. Or heck use energy to hate something you have no idea about lol. Or something that is not true.
But really, right now Aiyuk is the target for folks confused and going through s**t. Eventually it will be someone else, until one resolves one's said issues.
Seems like Aiyuk is the one confused and going through s**t. We're all just fans dude. Fans use "love" and "hate" to express themselves all the time, but I wanna know why you're so pressed about someone having an issue with Aiyuk of all people. Yes, some fans are absolutely lunatics (I.e., those who send threats or obsessively comment negative stuff on a players' social media), but that's not the vibe I got from ray's post.
Do you think Aiyuk's actions and statements have been problematic? Going back to the contract negotiations.
"I hate Pat Mahomes, f**k that guy!" After a heart breaking TD against us or another team. Understandable.
"words can't express how much I hate Aiyuk" for being a thief? What? What did he steal from you, or steal from the 9ers?
But not trying to single out raywm3, because there have been others who have got way too personal when it comes to Aiyuk. Just seems like misguided anger. Like when women hate or bully other innocent women because their unfaithful man takes an interest.
You need to be more worried about the FO and their long term outlook. If they have learned anything from this, or will they be like Kyle and just be stubborn or in denial about their past performance.
OK, so you see Aiyuk as some sort of victim here. Interesting. I only make that assumption because you didn't answer my question regarding his antics and used the word "innocent" in your analogy.
Aiyuk as the victim? I really don't know how I would approach negotiations with NFL teams, lots of BS that goes on. But
he showed how he views things during that time last year, so imo the team should have had a read on how he would react to them doing something unprecedented. ESPECIALLY if he saw other teammates doing the same s**t, and not get treated the same way. So as far as Aiyuk being the victim, I'm a person who believes don't do things that are illegal/wrong just because you see others getting away with it, especially if you're Black/African in a different country. Might not be the best advice for the real world of business and success, but it has served me well all these years. So although I would have went about things differently, I can also understand his position (if it's true that he was treated differently).
There are different scenarios at play here...
Aiyuk thought it was all good, other players choose to go about recovery in their own way. Team used that reason to get out of the contract, but thought Aiyuk would still come back this year to help the team (lol at this).
Kittle, Bosa, and other players have talked about points in recovery from season ending injuries, that take the players into dark/depressing places. On top of that Kittle, Bosa, Warner, and CMC probably didn't have THEIR (9er fans) bashing them for getting injuried for the season..when they were at a low point mental wise. (Well the first time for Bosa, second time I'm sure some s**tty fans did bash him).
So another scenario, Aiyuk probably didn't handle it well or fully recovered from it... or he didn't feel he had the support from the team/fans last year. Had a part of him out of the door going into this season. And both Aiyuk and the team found something that works for both of them. Team gets out of contract, Aiyuk becomes a free agent.
