We 9-4. We are on the way to 11 or more wins this season so we are NOT gonna do something stupid for one player that has been a bad investment the last two years

The best play is to keep him until post June 1 cuts UNLESS we can find a trade. Otherwise we treat him as he's treated us and clear him medically and watch him accrue fines and recoup some of the money we foolishly paid him

After June 1 he can go and be another teams headache. We will have drafted his replacement and retooled by then

Ask him to wear the same color of shorts as the rest of his teammates for one.

That is unforgiveable, I can see where BA is coming from.

Willing to pay me 125 million AND make me wear specific shorts. The nerve of some teams.

If you paid me $125m I would literally wear anything you asked me to. Anything!!

there's not much i wouldn't do for $125m

Would you do a filthy Mississippi birdbath ?

In all fairness, for whatever I would be netting out of that 125 million, if they asked me to run around naked, I would suffer the embarrassment of going naked.

Our current WRs aren't getting any separation. It's a glaring weakness in our pass game right now. The FO shouldn't be focused on being petty or getting back at Aiyuk, they should be focused on putting the best possible team on the field.

They are focused on putting the best team out there on the field.

That probably does not include a guy who had his knee absolutely shredded and is not yet ready to go.

Maybe that changes in the next five weeks, who knows.

I am proceeding under the original time frame given for recovery, that being that BA would likely miss the entirety of the 2025 season.

I have always wondered what the agent cut is from each contract he lands for players like Aiyuk? Is it 30-percent? Higher? Lower? Is that kind of information public knowledge? It would be nice to know.

Filthy Mississippi birdbath is you fill your mouth with diarrhea and someone dips their balls into your mouth

There are reports of multiple people and players reaching out to Ayuik with no response. As well as he shows up early at the facility but leaves when others arrive. Its very bizarre, can't really blame the 9ers if they just want to split ways. Its been two years barley produced anything making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

No thanks. That's got to have some long-term negative physical and psychological health implications.

I don't hate struggling for my comparatively meager paycheck that much.

AI Overview

The agent's cut from an NFL contract is, by regulation of the NFL Players Association,
a maximum of 3% of the player's total salary. For a one-year tender under a franchise or transition designation, the maximum commission is capped at 2%. The fee is based on the cash paid and is typically deducted directly from the player's paychecks.

A normal healthy Mississippi birdbath is when you fill your mouth w Kool Aid and someone dips their testicles in there

but I'm only giving you half the money for that

Agreed 100%. Aiyuk would clearly be our best WR. If we can get him on the field, we have to do it.

Aiyuk should have focused on his rehab. Which according to several reports he did not. He caused all of this mess. The front office finally had enough of his b******t. They should have traded him when they had the chance and not cave to his demands. Personally, if there is nothing to stop a trade in the contract, I would ship him out for a late round pick or a box of Craker Jacks just to get him off the books that or a June 1st cut and eat the dead money now. Dude is a huge cancer with One great year on his resume.

We will seek a trade but I cannot think of many teams giving us anything for an overpaid injured WR that they would have to fork over picks and cash right now for. He ain't Justin Jefferson after all so we will hold onto him until June 1 then release him and fine him and save the cash and add that back to our books for accounting purposes. We will use some of his money to pay other players that want to play here
