lot of words in this thread, but there is lil to talk about. he's gonna be on the pup, and rusty when back. we will move on at seasons end. the real WRs are Jennings and Pearsall. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The somewhat sad thing is he might be the best WR on the team next year. It the very least we know what he could be more than anyone else on the roster.

he's on the pup from what is being discussed. i hear you if you mean, 'when healthy'. as it stands now, he's a bit of an after thought. i think as pass catchers, he ranks behind cmc, kittle, JJ and pearsall for the upcoming campaign.

Ayuik keeps posting cryptic messages implying he's disgruntled. Wouldn't be this much drama and "Words" spoken otherwise Agree Jennings and Pearsall are the WRs moving forward. Highly unlikely we see Ayuik make a major comeback this year. Next year is when we'll see if he is still at a pro bowl level. Hopefully he doesn't drag his passive aggressive attitude all the way there as well

it just doesn't matter much what he does. the bed is made with the contract, and with his injury. i don't see him having a major role, if he starts on the pup, and we roll with the other guys. he'll need time to knock the rust off, and the season will be over. we will take the OUT, we have an out after this season. guy is gone, most likely.

It matters as fans and even the organization, I want him to recover and have a comeback even if it takes another year I understand he's not going to hit the ground running after that kind of injury but all his antics suggest he's not happy which is concerning especially when we paid him PHAT and are on the hook for years to come.

He's right though, the media was talking about him being a possible trade candidate and nobody was trading for him. This isn't news lol

When I try to read his messages I feel like I'm getting dumber 😂

I think that, theoretically speaking, you are. You and anybody who "tries" to read such. Though "dumber" may not be the politically correct or accepted word.
I can't prove it scientifically, but I suspect that the brain has re-adjust to a sort of lower or substandard level of reading comprehension.
Here's what I mean: There are entertainers, especially musical artists, whose stage names are spelled differently than the regular word.
For example, the one whose stage name begins with L and ends with ris.
Over the years, I have read the name, seen it, and heard it countless times.
So now, it's gotten to the point that I've almost forgotten how to spell the regular word.
Now before I get a scratching-my-head emoji, there has to be somebody else that understands what I'm saying.

This post is more confusing than your, Name that Niner Which I do enjoy, but I'm way too dumb for those riddles

No, you're NOT too "dumb" Gore-cubed. It's just a matter of figuring things out.
By the way, I am warming up to the idea of re-starting Name That Niner!

I like it. I know a lot of people just read and don't respond since most of us are dumb dumbs. Keep it going!

I'm thinking about posting a new one on July 15, the day of the MLB All-Star game.
Just thinking. But I may wait until HOF Game week. I still need to update the All-Time 49er roster list.

we just take the out, eat the dead cap and move on, in next offseason. done and dusted.

That's where I feel it's headed would rather do it this season since we already have so much dead cap. Maybe we are waiting till doctors clear him before we move on.

What I expect to happen is that he's going to miss 4 weeks, practice a week and maybe get into the game in week 5 and show some serious rust, but that there is a real possibility that by the end of the season looking back the best WR for the season might well be Aiyuk. Not because he is likely to be dominant, but that Jennings and Pearsall we don't have much data on, and everyone behind them has even more questions. CMC and Kittle don't really enter the WR conversation.

Even if he looks great by the end of the year?

The money is/was the root of the issue. This was after an exceptional season from him especially in terms of efficiency.

What's the rest of the contract look like?

you know, i got this wrong, the OUT is after 2026. it seems we are stuck with him, unless we trade. maybe he can look great by end of year, and we can flip him out in offseason via trade. this contract isn't good, remember folks, i said trade him to PIT, when he asked for us to do so, prior to him getting the contract. we should have done it. posts are there folks

If you are going to go on social media and shoot your mouth off, expect blow back. To blame this on fans is ridiculous. If BA doesnt want blowback then turn off social social media. He has control over this.

Fans get to be emotional babes over someone else's money and that player is NOT allowed to voice his opinion on any of it…gotcha 🤣

Love the double standards haha.

We get it, fans are all babies and BA is the mature one.

He does have a right and so do fans. The thing is he doesnt have to listen. Not to mention......make up your f**king mind., do you to be here or not.

Do you really think he is the only one. I am sure Brock s getting lots of burn for his contract along with being constantly told he jsnt good enough and actually handled his contract with class and without sublminal none sense. See how its done. How much traffic on the wbz forum.is there about Purdy acting like a jackass.

It's as if the team has no role in either situation… just the players.

'See how it's done', lol.
Hopefully he'll hit his stride come playoffs. Playoffs Lambo.

In the end,the team gave him trade options and a .massive contract. So mis treated.

While the 9ers have dragged negotiations into training camp they've been at least professional about it. Not mad at BA holding out but he needs to be more professional or in your words "stop being an emotional baby". It's been a year and he's still posting cryptic passive aggressive comments. The only two players that gone as far to request a trade that I can think of is Ayuik and Deebo 🤔

I mean they leaked that some of the FO didn't want to resign him after the fact. I wouldn't call that professional. No one handled it well.

Nothing he posted is cryptic imo. Deebo/mostert/Robbie Gould/BA all requested to be traded

Again, it was well reported that Kyle essentially forced that extension when the team was prepared to trade him. Aiyuk didn't produce, blew his knee up, Kyle lost some power, and the team shopped him this offseason to no avail.

This isn't really a hard situation to read*. We wanted out of a contract that some of the biggest people in our organization didn't want in the first place and has only been a disaster since. Aiyuk can figure that out if our fans can't.
