While he continues to take part in daily physical therapy at 49ers headquarters, Aiyuk also has assumed a quasi-coaching role in meetings alongside position coach Leonard Hankerson.

"Those are things he hasn't seen from his perspective," Hankerson said of Aiyuk. "He's seen it from a player's perspective. But sitting in that meeting room now, I've said to him, 'Brandon, you can be in here and be my coach, you can be my assistant.'

"And he loves that because he can coach up the guys and he helps big-time with that. So just mentally, it's been one of the biggest things for him."

that certain section of the Niner blogosphere and its satellite affiliates made s**t up about BA when they didn't see him physically on the field during Phase 2. the dude was in the building rehabbing. same dudes are pushing the negative BA narrative.

This business about coaching is fascinating. I love seeing players getting more deeply involved in the game.

Lol you really hate this guy. The didn't want to be here narrative went out the window when he rejected 2 trades to other teams that also would have netted him the $ he wanted and then opted to resign here.

Just because he rejected trades to Cleveland and New England doesn't mean he wants to be in SF.

He took the money from SF because he knew it was the best option for him at the time.

He turned down 2 trades offers that would have gotten him out of town and more money and resigned. How would taking less money and staying in a place he hates be the best option for him? No one knows what's going on with him , just a lot of assumptions based on personal dislike of the guy and previous predictions not coming to fruition, I'm basing mine off of the facts and what actually occurred.

This, no one is signing a deal with a team they absolutely hate and don't want to be part of…he literally could have done that (and gotten more) in NE or Cleveland. No one signing a player to a massive contract that they don't want to be part of their organization.

once again fans are overthinking what is being said…he's stating a fact, go on SM and you will see a plethora of "fans" requesting to have him moved because they were butt hurt over the contract stuff or because he's injured. THEN you had the media looking to grasp at anything thats spicy like moving BA a yr after signing a massive deal while injured lol.

BA does need to just get over it and focus on rehab and getting back to playing good football.

I think everyone here has a point tbh. What we can all agree on is BA is immature.

Plenty of Wbzers , you know who you are, that think is all normal. Even to the point of comparing BA immaturities to Jerry Rice back in the day.

If you are going to go on social media and shoot your mouth off, expect blow back. To blame this on fans is ridiculous. If BA doesnt want blowback then turn off social social media. He has control over this.

So glad I don't participate even if I still have to hear about the shenanigans that take place.

I don't think the fans are the issue. Multiple reports about the disconnect in-house around his contract extension.

True but that was more about why they said Kyle has to stay out of the negotiations going forward. There weren't any trade rumors attached to that from BA's camp or the team. Just the fans.

He's right though, the media was talking about him being a possible trade candidate and nobody was trading for him. This isn't news lol

When I try to read his messages I feel like I'm getting dumber 😂

I think that, theoretically speaking, you are. You and anybody who "tries" to read such. Though "dumber" may not be the politically correct or accepted word.
I can't prove it scientifically, but I suspect that the brain has re-adjust to a sort of lower or substandard level of reading comprehension.
Here's what I mean: There are entertainers, especially musical artists, whose stage names are spelled differently than the regular word.
For example, the one whose stage name begins with L and ends with ris.
Over the years, I have read the name, seen it, and heard it countless times.
So now, it's gotten to the point that I've almost forgotten how to spell the regular word.
Now before I get a scratching-my-head emoji, there has to be somebody else that understands what I'm saying.

This post is more confusing than your, Name that Niner Which I do enjoy, but I'm way too dumb for those riddles

No, you're NOT too "dumb" Gore-cubed. It's just a matter of figuring things out.
By the way, I am warming up to the idea of re-starting Name That Niner!

And it's clear from how some respond here that it's working to inflame emotions over nothing.

Pointing out Jerry had some diva to him isn't wrong or a big deal…I'm not the one who's all emotional about BA 24/7 in multiple threads

Fans get to be emotional babes over someone else's money and that player is NOT allowed to voice his opinion on any of it…gotcha 🤣

Love the double standards haha.

There were rumors though. The thought was we would be willing to trade him for the 'right offer' prior to his ~ 22 million dollar bonus kicking in (in April IIRC). The reality is nobody was going to trade for a player with that contract and injury.

Not sure why people are arguing about how happy BA is to be here or not. Looking at the wrong side.
