You can talk about the SB all you want but when the final play was to be made to win the damn thing BA absolutely cooked his guy for a TD if the line could simply just touch the guy across from them. I swear people forget how god damn good the guys been without #1 WR targets due to the system.

I can never forget about Barford and Luter in that SB

Yeah, that was the all pro McDuffie that BA schooled for a would be td. Aiyuk is an elite route runner and separator. Even after his injury he would drop from a top 3-5 route runner to top 10? He's still extremely valuable to our team, not to mention Brock, who was very dependent on him and had great chemistry with him

purdy over the middle to aiyuk!!!

That's right my LUV!!!! 👏 How have you been? I think this year with our easy schedule and our huge coaching upgrades on special teams and defense, A lot of people are going to be surprised when we finish with 11 or 12 wins. You can make book on that Missy!!!!

it's an absurd take to think him skipping camp had any impact on his knee. Not every ACL injury looks the same. You can be in pristine shape and the wrong timed hit as your foot is planted and that thing snaps.

Why is that an absurd take? Stretching matters. Conditioning matters. If he's not in shape, and trying to go full speed, it's hardly absurd to believe that's, at minimum, a contributing factor

Its not absurd at all.
Nobody knows why some guys get injuried a lot and others never do. If it was just about conditioning then they would know how to train so they could prevent them. Even the best conditioned athletes can tear a ligament.

Absolutely absurd. You can only do so much stretching. No player has ligaments made out of titanium. Go back and look at the injury. That's textbook ACL blown out, just like Nick Bosa's in 2020 wasn't going to get helped at all.

When you get hit a certain way on the knee and your foot isn't able to come off the ground it's snapping.

Aiyuk was in shape. He just was off with Brock and if anything his head was off.

The guy played in every game and just came off 90%+ snaps played in the two games prior and we want to pretend he got hurt cuz he was out of shape? 🤦‍♂?

Yea there's been hundreds of ACL or Achilles tears to in shape athletes all the same over the years. You could look at any great player that lasted maybe 6+ years in the NFL and they all probably had a major injury like that. Hello even Tom Brady had one of those injuries. I choose to think BA was getting in shape, but that had nothing to do with the tear. I think that was plain bad luck. And by that game he was actually performing better so maybe he was in shape? Who knows

No, not necessarily stretching but strength and conditioning training can minimize ACL tears and the severity. Also, playing while your "head is off" also causing injuries. There is training camp for a reason. Its not just X and Os. He cant be in shape. He never went to training camp. Maybe catching balls in the backyard is staying in shape?!

This guy could very well be our BEST player, why would we give him away?

He's nowhere near our best player and that includes pre injury.

He's actually very close to being your best player. He has a history of dominating his position on the field, he's led us in receiving already. And let's not forget that he keeps getting better and better as he goes on. He earned an incredible contract by getting better and working hard, if he continues on this track, he could easily become our best player.

He had 75 catches. That is far from dominant and I love Brandon. If you pay 30 million a year for a WR they should be in the 100 catch/season range.
