Trading Aiyuk to a team of our choosing isn't treating players wrong though. It's business as usual in pro sports including the NFL.

I think you're missing the context of when those kinds of statements are made, lol. Not unlike you not understanding why he had more leverage last offseason vs now.

Personally, I think the salary dump makes sense, but I also think wasn't in love with signing him last year. Definitely a good player but now how I think we should be spending.
