Of course thats part of it, but you also have to treat guys right.

B.A's contract offers security against that emotional stuff.

Trading Aiyuk to a team of our choosing isn't treating players wrong though. It's business as usual in pro sports including the NFL.

I can't argue this point anymore. You have a bizarre read of this situation from every angle.

This is why we always hear; "he and his agent were given the opportunity speak to other teams about a trade" rather than "the organization is speaking to other teams, but he and his agent haven't been given permission to speak to other teams".

I think you're missing the context of when those kinds of statements are made, lol. Not unlike you not understanding why he had more leverage last offseason vs now.

He has more leverage now if teams are still interested even after his injury.

I can't speak for glory but I get what you guys are saying now. Thanks. But given how injured Aiyuk is, they won't get much or maybe they're not looking to and its just a salary dump.

Personally, I think the salary dump makes sense, but I also wasn't in love with signing him last year. Definitely a good player but not how I think we should be spending.

Yep, I said at the time way to much money invested in the WR position.

Yah it was definitely a turn off how he acted throughout the process. I much rather keep Aiyuk cause I know him and Ricky would be a solid duo, but totally understand if they traded him.

I agree. Nobody is dumb enough to pay for injured goods. That's like someone spending three first round picks on an unproven North Dakota State rookie.

Oh, wait...

I think they should make a decision free of judgement about how he acted.

He was trying to maximize his money and they played their role in dragging it out as well. It's just business.

Trade him because it's the better move for the team. Or keep him if you think that's the better move. Who gives a s**t if Paraag and Jed's feelings were hurt, lol.

They just did that (Salary Dump) with Deebo and now Jed is snatching the checkbook. Salary dumps aren't going over well with the owner who is signing these checks.

You just seem to not get any of this stuff, lol. Once again, you have the Deebo move backwards.

Oh most definitely what you said, couldn't agree more. If he's seriously on the move, I won't expect it till the Draft. Then again teams could wait till Aiyuk is healthy until inquiring again.

He's due a sizeable bonus on April 1st so if he goes it'll be before that.
