Would trading for Aiyuk be equivalent to some NBA team trading for Embid?

Team is looking to get younger. Adams isn't coming here, unless Brock somehow doesn't get his contract and decides to hold out. Then Kyle will go into stressed out mode and try to make some ridiculous trade for Kirk Cousins, and if that fails then you're looking at an Aaron Rodgers / Davonte Adams package here…

No ?

Embiid has one of the worst contracts in the NBA (think Deshaun Watson initial contract with Browns), will turn 31 this month and has a career filled with injuries and health issues. He's also really good when he plays and has a MVP to his name.

BA is not a top 5 WR, and has only had one significant injury in his career that just happened. He's turning 27. His contact is nowhere as bad as Embiid's.

In other words, I see no similarities here whatsoever. Two very different situations.

Everything being equal, I'd take my chance on Aiyuk as opposed to a player who is non motivated.

Yeah, bad comparison. But you get my point, all it takes is one sucker owner to make it happen.

I never heard of this account so I don't buy it, but I guess a rumor is a rumor.

He signed last year so his dead cap hit would be like $40 million! Would be less if he was designated a post 6/1 release but that would just push the dead cap hit to next season. Not hard to figure out.

So pointing out that you have no idea what you are talking about, leads to an even more ridiculous post ?

lol

You have no idea what you are talking about. You think the guy who signed last year can simply be moved with a minor dead cap hit?

Keep dreaming cause it doesn't work that way.
