I had to look twice I thought you were 9moon.
Nah 9moon would be like:
Trade YUK for #14 on the Panthers + #60 + 2nd round pick. Then trade #60 + 2nd round pick to the TITITANS for their #1 pick and throw in Kyle for a future 1st and their K, I like to call their K, THE HUMAN PINATA.
Something like that

How about we move Aiyuk to NE for their 4th rounder #107 and call it a day.

This would put us in an entire rebuild mode, we would have like 3 WR's on the roster.
Still need OL, DL, LB, and possibly DB's. Add two WR's to this and well...
False. Trading a disgruntled WR coming off a major injury is not rebuilding. It's getting some draft capital and clearing $110M long term.
Jennings/Pearsall/Kittle is still a great start in the passing game but clearly need more help.
Add a veteran WR and hit the draft for 1-2 WR and we're in good shape.

He's not getting traded. There's no way to recoup what you would need to make the trade even for us. He would have to get a first or second round pick based on age/production/ and upside.
Nobody is going to offer that and the moneys already allocated.
He is not going to get traded.

I keep hearing NE for a 3rd, may be he's in town to visit Boston
If we get a 3rd and a 5th for Deebo Samuel and Aiyuk I'll rage. I still think Deebo was worth a 3rd, certainly a 4th. BA is young and I do not think this injury will impact him long term. Can't trade BA after giving him that contract and getting virtually no return on investment. Would be the dumbest thing
The market said what Deebo was worth. I was hoping for a 4th and thought a team could get 800 - 900 yards out of him and recoup a pick if he bolted in free agency. Didn't seem like a bad investment but I also see why the market wasn't on fire for him. With that said, for receiver needy teams, they messed up, but again the market said what he was worth.

I totally agree. I don't think the 49ers liked the price tag either but he brings a lot that you can't get elsewhere. How many 1300 yard receivers will block the way he does? He definitely wants more targets but I've seen worse. Given the work ethic and trajectory prior to being injured, I expect Aiyuk to be a productive 1200 yard + guy soon.
Build up the trenches and we will see this offense run wild.

It is a great start. But how did you determine Aiyuk is disgruntled at this point? Trading Deebo made sense. It doesn't in the case of Aiyuk.

Not sure if true, but several sources say Aiyuk getting a physical in Foxboro to ascertain where he's at in the rehab process. If the rumors are true, Aiyuk may be out for a possible 3rd rounder.
I, for one, have no problem with this. I wasn't happy with his diva mentality last year, and wanted him out. Good riddance to all these divas on this team. And that goes for all pro TW who milked us then didn't show up this season.
time for a change on this rusty version of Kyle's superstar team. We have to build from the bottom up. Get Kyle out !

Maybe don't begrudgingly give top dollar to someone who's behaving like a teenager off the field during contract negotiations. Also, maybe "hold ins" shouldn't be a thing.

Would be epically bad. Could have moved him last yr if they didn't want to pay him.
Have $50M in DM in 2025 for two WRs. Makes zero sense unless you get some stupid compensation and that's not happening

Does he have no trade? I forget. Why the hell would he agree to go there?

Don't think there is a no trade situation. Last offseason he could simply claim "I'm not signing with them" and then the trade was basically f'd.
Deal is signed so he doesn't have the same leverage. I think knowing that Maye looked pretty good may be a change for him too. Last year it was unclear how their QB would play out.
Personally I still want Aiyuk here but I'm also just tired of the drama. If we just want to save money then just try to recoup a 3rd at minimum. Odds are we regret the move and he has a great career we wish would've stayed here. But if it allows us to get younger and cheaper and still find a way to play well on offense then do it.

I'm not moving off of Aiyuk unless I'm getting a proven player in return. We have 11 picks in the draft. The reality is we'd be very lucky if we hit on 5 of them. The league avg is about 34% of a draft class turns out to be average or above.
If we can get Brock at under $50 million and have a decent draft we'd be in good position for the foreseeable future. IMO
