Yuk has the potential to be a 1300-1400 yard receiver. His cap hit was already factored in last year with the purdy deal in mind. They can afford it.

There are no other receivers on the team that have proven they can run good routes consistently for purdy.

Yes he's a tier below Jefferson, Chase, lamb etc... but without any other option you kind of need to get good return or keep him. There's no guarantees even a wr taken in round 1 will get 1k yards in a season. Its probably about as likely as yuk not coming back well from his acl.

You need equal compensation and risk or better to make a trade work.

Everybody gets paid on potential and extrapolation of what you've shown. IE they are going to hope he's going to be as good or better than pre acl.

50/50 he comes back and gets 1300 receiving yards. 50% chance he has lost all speed and is relegated to a wr3-4 production for the rest of his short career
He's more than a tier below those guys and has almost no chance of hitting the 1000yd mark let alone 1300-1400 this season.

Lots of talk on twitter about NE. I didn't trust the talk yet. I'm sure NE and Pittsburgh are interested but might not give up enough for us to deal him.
Now the talk moved to Metcalf.
There was an article on Sfgate where some of the inside reporters heard no big FA WR signings to replace Deebo. Talk was the team likes the younger owens that was on the practice squad. If Aiyuk goes, you need somebody but i'd expect more of a Slayton level signing.
I think they would also target Higgins in the 3rd to replace him.
Yuk to Panthers?

If they're actively shopping him under these circumstances what could they realistically expect in return?

Can this dude even pass a physical yet ? I would like to see him running before offers, unless we know it's going to be months away and a team wants to roll the dice.

I've been so turned off by this dude the moment I seen him smirk and admit he was being an a*****e during negotiations and sat on the deal for weeks missing camp that he ended up taking anyways. Hopefully I'm wrong but it looks like one of those players who got his bag and is going through the motions now

I didn't even know this dude sat on the deal for 3 weeks until the other day. I totally get why the front office wants him to GTFOH.

If the office wanted him gone they should have never paid him in the first place.

Kinda like Deebo?

Doesn't need to pass a physical. Just needs a team willing to take on the risk associated with signing an injured player. They would probably still examine him to ensure his recovery time table matches his condition.

Also, Aiyuk isn't fetching more than a 5th.

This would put us in an entire rebuild mode, we would have like 3 WR's on the roster.

Still need OL, DL, LB, and possibly DB's. Add two WR's to this and well...

I'm not sure about that. We have Brock Purdy who is a top half of the league QB. Our skill players would still be Kittle, Pearsall, Jennings, and whoever else. Yeah it'd be a work in progress, but we'd also gain cap room in the future to build.

This is what I see as a rebuild.

Nah 9moon would be like:

Trade YUK for #14 on the Panthers + #60 + 2nd round pick. Then trade #60 + 2nd round pick to the TITITANS for their #1 pick and throw in Kyle for a future 1st and their K, I like to call their K, THE HUMAN PINATA.

Something like that
