Neither of those things have a chance of happening.

Good the 49ers need to keep him. I would like to see:

Aiyuk
Tee Higgins, Amari Cooper, type receiver
Jennings
Pearsall
Cowing
Draft pick
I think there's a legitimate chance Aiyuk gets traded,Higgins wouldn't be worth the money he'll be asking,Cooper is more realistic but he might command a hefty price tag aswell.

I doubt Cooper commands that much, maybe he signs a one year $14 mil deal with incentives since he's had trouble staying healthy.

I wouldn't think so either but stranger things have happened.
If can get a 3rd and a 4th for him - get rid of him.

Not because I don't like him, but there is huge risk he will not be the same player after that injury - you know.. the player we paid 30m per year for.

It may mean going Burden in the 1st but since I like Burden a lot and he is plug and play ready to start at X I don't mind lol.

Plenty of picks to do trenches with the added 5th from Deebo and hypothetically say a 3rd and 4th for Aiyuk. Example below how it could work assuming no trades except realistic small trade back in the 1st. With the added picks can see below that can easily try and trade back again with one of those picks to accumulate more picks this year or stock up picks for next year.

Can trade back with Indy to #14 (in front of AZ as they could easily want to pair Burden with Harrison Jr) so they can secure Warren and get their pick at #80. So we'll say a 3rd and 4th for Aiyuk is at middle of each round.which is pick #81 and #118 + Deebo 5th at #148.

1. 14 - Luther Burden III WR (immediate plug/play starter replaces Aiyuk just as good and we get him right away and not wait til Thxgiving for Aiyuk to return)
2. 43 - Princely Umanmielen / Donovan Ezeraiku EDGE (high upside bookend opposite Bosa)
3. 75 - Darius Alexander DL (first beast added to rebuild our DL)
3. 80 - Savion Williams WR / Jayden Higgens WR (met with both at combine)
3. 81 - Jamaree Caldwell DL (second beast to the DL - huge NT to anchor in the middle of our wide 9 and eat up double teams and defend the run)
3. 99 - Anthony Belton OT (high upside LT replacement for Trent - can play G in the meantime if needed. Or move McKivitz inside and start Belton at RT)
4. 112 - CJ West DL (third beast to the DL - met with him at Senior Bowl - DJ Jones clone but better with more pass rush/penetration ability and good against the run)
4. 118 - Demetrius Knight LB (Greenlaw replacement)
4. 138 - RJ Harvey RB (ran a 4.45 at combine super good RB. Met with him at combine)
4. 139 - Malachi Moore S (depth and could challenge Jayir Brown as starter. Jayir insurance here in case of regression)
5. 148 - Jake Majors C (center prospect to groom and hopefully be better than Brendel asap)
6. 189 - Patrick Jenkins TL (fourth beast to the DL - underrated DL pass rusher type 290-300 lbs dominated with Tulane in that conference)
7. 228 - Kyle Williams WR (just ran a sub 4.40 40 at the combine - has really good tape at Wash St - if have to do small trade up to get him do it)
7. 255 - Nikolas Martin LB (OK State LB met with him at combine ran a fast 40 and good tackler. Now we have LB depth)

Who says no to that draft? And that's with only ONE small trade back to #14 in the 1st round + we pick up THREE WRs to replace Aiyuk and Deebo while grabbing FOUR new beasts on the DL and a top EDGE. Now WR, DL, LB, S. Only thing didn't get is a G and TE2 so sign one of each in FA middle tier to bridge to next year's draft. Plus McKivitz can move inside if we need him too since we get Belton.

Just showing how by trading Aiyuk next can go WR in 1st and even 3rd round and still address trenches and depth at other positions in a big way. Sub out Williams/Higgens in the 3rd if you want with one of the Georgia Gs Tate Ratledge/Fairchild if you want more trenches. Either way can still grab Burden in the 1st and be just fine with the added picks from Aiyuk trade.

Don't even need Aiyuk anymore and certainly won't miss him with that draft.

I absolutely say no a first round receiver is non starter for me and on top of that they add another WR at #80 no thanks.

Lol as if you didn't even look at the rest of the draft with 4 DL and 2LB an EDGE an OT a C. Also if Aiyuk is gone then we need top talent at WR just as much as DL/OL. And what if Pearsall or Jennings get hurt? We have ZERO depth with Dick and Squat behind them. We need a top WR worse than the year we traded up for Aiyuk in the 1st round. Pearsall and Jennings and a 4th rd WR are not going to cut it to compete next year.

The WR landscape has changed with no Aiyuk or Deebo. Adapt your mind to the new situation - if you are able.

Lots of ways to skin a cat to get better - clearly you do not have a creative mind - that small trade back netted us #80 so essentially got two of the best WRs in the draft for for the price of #11. Said sub out WR at #80 and grab Tuten RB that just ran 4.32 or Elijah Arroyo TE or Tate Rattledge G or Fairchild G or whatever the hell player you want. Point is we can address all of our needs in the trenches in THIS draft WHILE grabbing a WR in the 1st round IF we trade Aiyuk.

Maybe I'm crazy but I don't think it's out of the question they trade him.

I'm not saying we SHOULD go WR in the 1st round - I'm saying we should heavily consider it at #14 if we can grab Indy's #80 along with it. I'm fine going multiple directions... Johnson..Nolen...Grant....Jihaad Campbell...Emanwarri...Starks...Warren...Burden...

Just grab the best player. If that's Burden hell yes you do it if Aiyuk is also gone with Deebo. If it's not go in the multitudes of other possible directions that are available. But we need to adjust to the new reality that we may likely have traded our top two WRs and we certainly have no #1 WR now and zero depth behind the two #2 WRs we do have.

Which parts are fantasy? Could you elaborate?

Burden easily could be there at #14 if Dallas doesn't take him
Umanmielen easily could be there at #43 / simple grab one of the top fast CBs here if he's not (Porter, Hairston, A'zareyah) or even Donovan Jackson if he falls or Mbow C or Makuba S.
Alexander may be gone but could easily be there at #75 - small trade up is fine to secure him. If gone grab Elijah Arroyo here who will be there
Savion Williams or Higgens could easily be there at #80 (if not just sub in trenches at G with Rattledge/Fairchild or Tuten RB who should all be there at #80)
Caldwell I drafted earlier at #81 than he is projected so it would be realistic
Belton easily could be there at #99 / if not just grab Trapilo OT
CJ West drafted earlier than projected at #112 so it would be realistic. If he is gone take JJ Pegues one of them will be there
Demetrius Knight easily could be there at #118. If he is gone sub in Smael Mondon LB out of Georgia or Bassa
RJ Harvey easily could be there at 138
Malachi Moore easily could be there at 139 - if gone grab another EDGE here or Marcus Tate G out of Clemson or another G or sub in Kyle Williams WR here
Jake Majors easily there at 148 - if he is gone choose from Monheim C out of USC or McLaughlin C from Ohio St. One will for sure be there
Patrick Jenkins should be there at 189 - drafted him above where he was projected.
Kyle Williams may be the fantasy here - I'd trade a 4th/5th next year to move up from this slot to grab him in the 5th round
Nikolas Martin may not be here since he ran a fast 40 - if not grab BPA here at any position.

Like someone else said - too much smoke here.

My gut says he is gone and traded if the comp is right.. i.e a couple Day 3 picks like two 4ths or even a 3rd and a 4th. I'm all for it as I am super high on Burden and I'm tired of Aiyuk's emotional self and uncertain condition coming off that horrific knee injury. The picks gained from trading him and Deebo help us restock the kitchen with tons of DL/EDGE and LBs for Saleh to cook right away and have a Philly-like defensive turnaround in 2025.

True, but I'm starting to think some of these rumors carry a little truth. I definitely think some teams have inquired.

I also think he won't even be old BA until late in the season (if at all) given his injury. Maybe a 3rd gets it done?

TBF the rest of the draft is fantasy and it's a lot harder to say we would get those, but the first pick is a lot easier then the rest of the draft and WR might be a really bad pick for us.. but that still all depends on how we do in FA

Burden easily could be there at #14 if Dallas doesn't take him
Umanmielen easily could be there at #43
Alexander may be gone but could easily be there at #75 - small trade up is fine to secure him
Savion Williams or Higgens could easily be there at #80 (if not just sub in trenches at G with Rattledge/Fairchild or Tuten who should all be there at #80
Caldwell I drafted earlier at #81 than he is projected so it would be realistic
Belton easily could be there at #99
CJ West drafted earlier than projected at #112 so it would be realistic. If he is gone take JJ Pegues one of them will be there
Demetrius Knight easily could be there at #118. If he is gone sub in Smael Mondon LB out of Georgia or Bassa
RJ Harvey easily could be there at 138
Malachi Moore easily could be there at 139
Jake Majors easily there at 148 - if he is gone choose from Monheim C out of USC or McLaughlin C from Ohio St. One will for sure be there
Patrick Jenkins should be there at 189 - drafted him above where he was projected.
Kyle Williams may be the fantasy here - I'd trade a 4th/5th next year to move up from this slot to grab him in the 5th round
Nikolas Martin may not be here since he ran a fast 40 - if not grab BPA here at any position.
the fantasy part was drafting the exact list created after the first round. That pretty hard to get right, but I think your mock would change after FA

Not because I don't like him, but there is huge risk he will not be the same player after that injury - you know.. the player we paid 30m per year for.

It may mean going Burden in the 1st but since I like Burden a lot and he is plug and play ready to start at X I don't mind lol.

The WR landscape has changed with no Aiyuk or Deebo. Adapt your mind to the new situation - if you are able.

No I absolutely looked at the whole draft.

Losing Deebo nor Aiyuk necessitates using a first round pick in this draft at WR.

It has nothing to due with lack of creativity it makes no sense for a run first team to continuely invest premium draft capital & huge amounts of cap room in the receiver position.

Sorry just saw this. I agree with the smoke.

I am wondering if some players came super clean on exit interviews with some common themes emerging. This seems to have given Kyle and co new perspective on the roster etc. Snagging a couple of top 100 picks would be worth decent comp if they are inclined to move on.
