I'm not buying this as the 49ers are currently shopping him like they are with Deebo. I could see them entertain offers, but there won't be a good enough offer out there.

We can't start the season with just Ricky and JJ. Especially since we will be extending Purdy, you can't put him in that kind of a position to have such little WR help. If this happens, we are basically forced to use a 1st or 2nd on a WR, which would be stupid right now.

They won't start the season with just JJ & Ricky even if they don't trade Aiyuk they'll add to that group either way Aiyuk is unlikely to be ready at the start of the season.

Moving Aiyuk wouldn't force them to do anything in the draft.

I got bad news for you, bro. They're more than likely starting the season with just Ricky and JJ whether BA is on the team or not. Maybe they add a WR in FA or the draft that can help from the jump, but if BA is still on the team, he isn't helping them for awhile.

I mean we likely are starting the season without Aiyuk regardless, unless you think he'll be back and ready to go to begin the season?

Zero reason to be "forced" using a 1st or 2nd on a WR. Got Cowing, Kittle and CMC to go along with Ricky and JJ. Plenty of weapons for Purdy; in fact that's better than a lot of other QBs has

Aiyuk isn't getting traded people. Like I said before, we gotta stop overreacting to the tough negotiations.

Deebo was healthy and playing poorly. Aiyuk was rusty and still opening up the offense and getting open.

You don't go through all the BS last year and then get rid of the only proven WR you got who can beat man coverage, especially when you'd have to sell him on pennies on the dollar cuz of the injury situation.
