these fans were singing their GMs praises like he was going to pillage us and now they've turned on him. It's hilarious.

all fan bases are essentially the same, just different teams. Lmao

Aiyuk's agent.

Our team shouldn't have put that info out, but whatever… deal is done.

You know exactly why the team did it. Lmao let future players know - there is no benefit to holding in like he did. Your best offer will be there already…. Unless of course your bosa caliber.

trying to set precedent
that's a pretty big lie to say/do that.

Players have agents and don't need the media to find this stuff out

Doesn't matter if it's true or not - anyways, if you don't think so - that's fine. Lol I think it's obvious but agree to disagree. No biggie
how's it obvious, all the details come out after. why would they say that s**t when the details are going to come out lol

Thank god this is over, now get TW signed.

It always made sense to me that these things would get tied up by the end of Labor Day weekend. I'm betting Trent's contract will as well.
not gonna lie... I'm actually a little bummed

goodbye in '25:
Deebo, Lenoir/Ward, Greenlaw, Hufanga, Banks... at least 3, maybe 4 of those guys

especially with Cowing looking good, Pearsall coming...
there's not much behind OL - feels like we need to keep Banks
we finally have two legit starting CBs
Greenlaw is our enforcer, I like the young guys, but they're not him
Hufanga still might be the second coming of Troy P... we don't know yet... he had Wilkes and an injury last year, all-pro in his second season before that, won a playoff game in his rookie year on STs
and Deebo changes opposing team's gameplans, he opens things up for everyone else and is almost underrated because of that

sorry to be the downer at the party

edit: happy for this year though

We have a whole fleet of exotic cars. lol no other team in the league has paid more exotic cars than us. It was a dumbass statement by BA IMO.

I'm not pointing fingers, other than to say our FO guys make stupid PR mistakes at times that are transparent. It's been a thing through multiple regimes with Jed/Paraag on top.

That said, we got a deal done. It's a good thing. Our team is stronger than it was this morning. I appreciate them driving a hard bargain but not to the point of blowing things up. Let's move on and see how it plays out.

Season starts in a week and a half, hopefully the sanity returns with it.

Just wait until a DB allows a first down. Lol

It's always about contract holdouts/disputes. So glad there's no big ticket player that'll need a new deal next year……

Huh? Are you saying the details of all the previous deals they offered will be leaked out so they can prove that the final deal signed wasn't the same one since Aug 10?

are we talking about the same thing? I'm talking about the team putting out the info that Aiyuk signed the same deal they put on the table Aug 10 - saying that his long hold in and fines amounted to nothing more than they already offered.

i believe that's the team trying to set a precedent to other plays that says holding in isn't going to get you a better deal and it'll cost you money instead. It also is a way to tell the fans that "we won the final part of negotiations by him signing what we offered nearly a month ago".

who knows if that is true or not but it makes sense why the 49ers would want that spin out there. They don't want other players thinking they can attempt what Bosa and Aiyuk just did and that they'll be better off for it. That Bosa was a unique situation cause he's a great player. Etc etc
You know Lynch is really a good dude he's a straight shooter. Yesterday he basically said things can look like there's absolutely nothing happening whatsoever and no end in sight and then all of a sudden the tables turn and it all changes just like that. And he was 100% accurate.

that was the past and the leaks have stopped and continued the stop. some just can't let that go i guess

Meanwhile, the Niners have arguably the best WR room in football. 😎

There are fans who truly want to be miserable at all times.
BA can reach even greater heights this year.

He really is only just coming into that age where most WRs have their best seasons.
