It's front loaded. So a big chunk of cap comes off within a year is that correct?

Good job, John!! Gonna start calling him John FLINCH. He's probably going back to broadcasting next year, and doesn't care about the shape he leaves the team in.
ALL PRO for a reason... deal with it hating ass.

I think a frontloaded contract is wise. Purdy's contract next year is going to be GINORMOUS, so they have to make sure they time the yearly cap hits correctly. I assume they'll backload that contract, since a QB is someone you envision stays with the team for the next 10 years.
I dont know. Aiyuks probably going to hold out in 2 years because all of the money is being paid now, similar to Trent.
This too! But hey, they gave into a bipolar yo-yo...they get what they get!
Someone mentioned it, but there's the hope that Pearsall and Cowing have developed well in a couple years, so that Aiyuk isn't our only long-term option.
Our current cast of Aiyuk, Deebo, CMC, Juice, Kittle... this year, maybe next year is the last chance for this collective group together.
Can't afford both Aiyuk and to re-sign Deebo when his contract is up, so Deebo will leave. Juice is old. Kittle, I'm sure he's going to wear down but will still be solid. Hope he is okay with re-signing at a lesser salary. CMC, if we really do limit his carries this year, can age gracefully, but he probably only has a year or two left of being an elite RB.

I wish they let him rot on his 5th year after all the b******t that was said. I actually was hoping Trent would sign first.

I don't think we're really a run first team. It's pretty damn even.

Feel the same way, though I think there's good reason to trust the team will stay competitive in terms of fielding talent at other positions.

Lenoir is going to be tough to extend. After all these high priced contracts. We don't have any money left.
Right. :( And that is the guy that's probably outplayed his current contract the most!

If Trent doesn't sign then we will see about Brock's season.
See Lynch is ahead of us on that !

.
He signed the deal that they offered on August 10th. "Pulling this s**t" didn't get him anything.
And? Still let it play out and I'm guessing he didn't want to take part in TC either.
s**ts done move on to TW

Im still salty about how he acted, but also glad we got Brock's favorite target and they get 4 more years together

I agree with this.
